Owl Inn Tainan

Well connected, close to many interesting places, in the middle of a lively part of Tainan, a city maybe even more intereting than Taipei. Again, as a rule of thumb, one does not travel to Taiwan for the food but one can find decent enough places to eat. The hotel is run by extremely friendly and hospitable people. The rooms are nice, even if they will not be serviced. The place seems to understand itself as a B&B (without the second B - like a hotel garni). I would go there again. There is no elevator for the luggage so let them help you to carry them if you are not willing to risk slipping on socks on stone pollished stairs with a suitcase in your hand. They will do. We liked the place!!!
