We paid 120€ for a night here and it was definitely not worth it. The room was dismal with aggressive neon lighting, a loud fridge, a door made of cardboard  and a large but run down bath room spa area which looked like it had seen better days.

While waking in the town nearby we chanced upon a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous garden for 70€ a night called Villa something. Go there, not here.

Not worth the cost. Run down and grubby

We got a free upgrade of room type which was very good with the steam room and jacuzzi onsen in the room.

Dinner was sumptuous, they provide full course with appetizer, main course (western) and 3 dishes with a soup & rice (Chinese), also serves with dessert and fruits. Breakfast was very oriental style ie the typical Taiwanese breakfast with porridge/ rice and dishes.

The cons is the location as it’s really out of reach from public transport. It’s very far to walk to the nearest shops too.
Overall a good rest & relax onsen holidays.

Excellent onsen hotel with reasonable price 

The room were slightly out of date, but it had everything u need. The Jacuzzi and the bath was amazing. Getting there maybe slightly troublesome if you do not drive. There is room for improvement for the food, the hotel provide u with dinner and breakfast. the portion for dinner is slightly small, for breakfast the refill wasnt quick enough. Lastly, dont expect it to be a 5 star hotel with staff greeting u up on entrance, its just a solid hotel with self service at many things.

Good hot spring water and Jacuzzi in room

This was my least favorite place we stayed in all of Taiwan. The food was not particularly good - cold chicken nuggets and french fries for breakfast and same exact meals in the evening for dinner. The rooms seemed old and smelled a little odd. But having a hot spring in the room was very relaxing and convenient. We chose this place because of it's proximity to Maolin, which we wanted to visit.

Not my favorite place, but hotsprings were nice.

We had been stayed in this hot spring hotel for two times. We had Villa room package last time. The room was great. We were enjoying the nights we stayed especially the hot spring pool and big privite cold pool which is face to the mountain. Only one thing I complained was they restaurant closed about 7 pm so that we couldnt get our package dinner beacuse we checked in late and they didnt make up for this.

Relaxing and Luxury hotel

The place is full of rustic charm and the staff must be commended for being helpful. We called a few times before coming over and they were very pleasant and accommodating. In fact, the staff agreed to pick us up from the nearest bus stop (as we took the public bus here from Kaohsiung via Liugui) and had upgraded our room upon arrival. Though one of the facilities of the upgraded room was faulty, the staff quickly tried to assist by fixing and apologised. The hot spring tub in the room was very comforting after a long journey. Dinner was provided and the food was deliciously homey. It was a lovely place to spend and we regretted not being able to extend our stay due to time constraints.
