Cave Hostel

We got here by taking bus 301 from Hualien Station, it costs 23 NTD, and get off at Far Eastern Store. We took a taxi from the hostel to the station, we paid 125 NTD. We stay here only 4 nights, I wish we stayed here longer. There wasn't much folk when we stayed, so it was so peaceful. You can walk to a beach or the night market, not so far. The bed is so comfy, the aircon is good, they have a huge locker. There are some books you can read, I found a Murakami's novel in English (my fav!), so I was happy to re-read that again during my stay there. I feel like home in here. They have a fridge, freezer, oven, coffee machine (you can make your own milk tea, cappuccino, latte, you name it), they even have a yoga roll mat and an exercise bag (it is free to use)!! I never see a hostel with this feature before!! If I wasn't sick I will use that too. The breakfast is really nice, (toasts, salads, eggs, and fruits). The staffs are very helpful. One of them speaks English. And they let us stay downstairs even we already checked out. Thank you! Oh, if you are hungry and lazy to come out, they have snacks, instant noodles, and drinks you can purchase on site. Location is far from the station. If you want to go to Taroko in the early morning, don't rely on the bus here, just take a cab. I waited for around 8, but it didn't come as the schedule. Walking to the station can be 30 minutes on foot. But you can hail a cab or ask the staff to call them for you, work for both.
