Longkou Mysterious Resort

We stayed here in early April. The hostess Ellen was so helpful, she picked us up from the airport and arranged for scooters for us to use. Very helpful ! The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we were provided with an exceptional breakfast each day, consisting of greasy pastries and the most amazing Cantonese style porridge (not just rice porridge, but contained egg, fish balls, local oysters and won ton, corriander, fried shallots etc....) Delicious !!! Delivered according to our preferences. The resort is situated close to a beach, and is made up of renovated 'Ming nan' style southern fukianese houses, modernised for comfort. Our rooms had up to date bathrooms, comfortable mattresses, air conditioning and free wifi. The little village that contains it is about 10 minutes drive from the airport and The main town Jincheng and is in a very quiet rural setting. Perfect for cyclists and walkers too as it is close to the various cycle routes that cris cross the island. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kinmen !
