7 reviewsWe had the nicest trip to Ruili. We booked a package for two nights and the owners are the nicest people on earth. They treated us like family. So we would eat with them together and talk a lot about Taiwan and Austria. Unfortunately there is a language barrier - so keep in mind that you will need at least a bit of chinese skills. Our package included some trips to the scenic area (bamboo forest, waterfalls), a night walk to see some fireflies, glowing mushrooms and other animals, DIY Aiyu Jelly and Oolong tea. Since the owner has his own tea plantage and was very skilled in producing tea he loved to show us around (inkluding a night trip to a tea factory). We picked tea leaves and made our own oolong tea- which was a very interessant experience. The homemade food was delicious and the room was not only beautiful but also very clean. We were very content with the package deal and we also made new friends there. So we can highly recommend to stay here!
