Impersonal camping. Automatic check-in and check-out online via link. We travel on two days ahead of time. We can't take it anymore. Here you lie like a herring in a barrel. Small tight spaces. And narrow road between rows.  Grass is not grass anymore. Rather soil/mud. Sanitary facilities were perfectly fine. A little too few for so many people. Could be cleaner. But the showers can make you feel claustrophobic. Some of the showers share drains, and when the neighbor showers at the same time, the neighbor's shower water splashes on your feet and legs. Disgusting!
 Plus for kitchen and dishwashing possibilities.  Wifi was non-existent in the place where we were. The reason we stayed 4 days was our 12-year-old son, who enjoyed the football pitch and the fact that there were so many other children at the campsite. The children enjoyed the Adventure Bath. Plus for great show. Good artists. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back

"Camping Factory"

Very expensive studio. The studies are very badly located, as far as way from the water as possible. 800 m to the Beach. Breakfast was horrible, no butter (just margarine), no jam. My kids loves pancakes and sauseges, but wouldn’t eat Them. You had to pay for all activities and it is quite expensive - 120 for jumping castle. The changing facilitets at the pool was quite Old and you had to go outside afterwards. Wifi didn’t work

We are definetly not coming back. We may come back to Vastervik as the area is beautiful, but staying somewhere Else

Not 5 stars - expensive studio in a bad location

We tried two places an apartment and a cabin. Both equally horrible. 
The apartment was so noisy that we could hear the people upstairs walking around LOUD. Don't order apartments.
The breakfast was equally horrible. They didn't have milk, so we told them and they where just "you're right there is no milk" and then nothing. We had to argue with them to get milk. The pictures on their webpage of breakfast does no where near resemble reality.
Service is not a word that is used here. 
Nothing is included as you would expect from a resort. Aircusions, paddleball, swimmingpool... everything cost 80 SEK an hour for aircusions! 100,- an hour to rent a bike. It is simply ridicoulus.
When called the number to get access to the court of paddleball (a sort of tennis) we got a text saying "I am at the movies" WHAT!? We paid 320,- SEK an hour and lost the first 15 min. 
I simply can not recomend this in any way. It is a camping site. NOT a Resort. It is overpriced and oversold crap. We lasted 2 days. 

Not a resort, expensive camping 

We stayed for 4 days, and that was enough. Based on the listed activities, pictures and rating of 5 stars, we imagined this would be heaven for the kids. This, however, was not the case. 
Everything costs money. The bounce castle cost 80, SEK for an hour per kid. The cycles cost, the activities arranged for the kids is mostly charged for, and the pool costs. Why not charge for the shower and activities aimed at the adults and let the kids go mad in fun stuff? 
On top of this there is nowhere to withdraw cash on the facility, so you have to make a trip into the city centre if you’re going to pay for all these things. 
In the ice cream stand, there were young inexperienced staff. One was in the process of adding a scoop of ice cream when she dropped it on the counter, and then continued to pick it up with her hand, and place it back on my ice cream, that she had just used to handle coins. She looked a bit surprised when I commented that I expected her to throw it away and make me a new one, she did as I asked, but with a hint of attitude. 

The camping area was not very well marked up, and the limitations set due to fire hazard was not being followed. 

All in all this place is a money machine, where you have to pay for everything, and mainly suitable if you have young kids that are happy with only using the playground. The outdoor area and scenery does not weigh up for the overall impression of how the place is run. 

Disappointing 

We stayed at this resort in a typical Swedish cabin. A nice cabin, plenty of room. Unfortunately there where only 5 toilets for 10 cabins and a entire field (aprox. 100 caravans and tents).
This results in a constant queue of people waiting for a toilet. Second problem is that it are toilet/shower rooms. So if someone managed to find a available shower they keep it occupied for the entire family. Basicly there are no toilet available.

We traveled with kids so for us and our kids a very poor 2 days.
Complaining at the reception was no succes.
They did not see it as a problem and iff the kids really needed to go i could always take the carr and drive to the next toilet facility.
Walking with a 3 year old would take us 10 minutes. (Yes! IT is a big resort)

Endresult. 
Kids used a bucket and we used the queue or waited and used other facilitys.
Other guests just used bushes or used the back of the cabin as toilet. (Picture 1 is behind our cabin)

So if they give you cabin 100 to 109. Please ask for aan other cabin

Nice resort but very poor toilets

Nice parc with typical swedish Stuga. Unfortunately our stuga can use some maintenance, paint etc. The food Bbq was poor. But the coffee was great. The area is beautiful close to a lake. Typical swedish parc with a lot of campsites too

Cafe Bar festival

My husband and I stayed in a cottage that had one room, no bathroom. Two beds. It had a little kitchen, stove, fridge, cleaning supplies etc.One has to bring their own linen, towels etc. There are public toilets and showers with toilet paper. CLEAN. The entire place was very well put together, clean and well functionable. There were people there from other countries too camping and many activities for children. Truly a GREAT place! The staff too were amazing..very helpful. Restaurants on site as well as a lttle shop.

An amazing getaway for everyone. A MUST visit!

A beautiful 5-stars camp site where we had the cozy and nice Dago cabin. For dinner we went to tapas & cava. Here we found gorgeous food, fantastic cava sangria and super nice staff, talking Swedish and English very well. High class Swedish dinner at affordable prices!
