We stayed in our half last night, because our flight was very early in the morning. There was not electricity but we payed for an air conditioning room. I know it is not the owner fault, but they should charge less money because they knew about the electricity issue in the city. Beside that situation the location is good and the staff is friendly. It is good for 1 night.

No electricity 

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday and it was so homely and friendly that we decided to stay for our last 2 nights in Sri Lanka. The rooms were clean with all you needed and the food was excellent ....Sylvia, Jude and family are very good hosts and made our stay very enjoyable, they arranged transport to and from the airport. Will stay again when in Sri Lanka.

Excellent place to stay

A very comfortable place to stay.  Air con, bed, balcony, good shower all good.  Breakfasts were good too.  The owner organised a taxi from the airport and a taxi to the railway station in Colombo for a good price. A short walk from the beach, where there are a few bars and restaurants.  This is one of the better districts in Negombo to stay, with plenty of life.  Just 1km from the main beach nightlife. The tuk tuk drivers aren't sure of the address though, so make sure you have it marked on Google maps.

A good place to spend your first couple of nights in Sri Lanka

We initially booked two nights but ended up staying two as we had a change of plans. However the one night we stayed was good. Owner arranged airport pick up for us(we arrived late after midnight). Greeted after midnight, given a bottle of water too. Breakfast was great too! The owner is very friendly. Would stay here again! Very lovely place

Very good 

Stayed here two times, because we had to come back. Good value for money, close to the beach and restaurents and the most lovely and welcoming family. We had the best breackfast here with good coffe. The family can help you with everything you can possibly need. Great place to start/end your stay in Sri Lanka. Will definetly come back.
