Like many places in Sri Lanka, you should be expecting an Airbnb-style experience here rather than a hotel. The property location is a little tricky - on top of a steep hill up narrow roads - but once there, it's a great property, with (as the name suggests) amazing views. The host is a lovely Sri Lankan lady who was super accommodating and one of the nicest people we met on our trip - she made us an amazing breakfast too. Rooms are nice. Would recommend if you need a bed for a night or two, but if you need a super-convenient location for exploring Kandy, with lots of amenities on your doorstep, it's not ideal. However, I'd still give this a good rating as the host is excellent and the property is nice -- really just depends what you're after.
