Popped in for a quick breakfast but waited nearly an hour for an omelete and some fried eggs. The breakfast included tea and a juice, which never arrived and the food we did receive was mediocre. Definitely room for improvement.

Very disappointing breakfast

I stayed 2 nights at the Zimbay Hotel and really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very friendly and was always making sure we had everything we needed. He even put an extra bed in our room for us and extra bed sheets and towels. He gave us good advice where we could eat and always greeted us back with a welcoming smile. Good rooms, comfy beds, AC, ensuite and just across the road from the beach! Definitely recommend staying here whilst in Arugam Bay :)

Friendly, Great Location

Simple rooms, great food and excellent service! We recommend zim bay for lone travellers, families and couples. The restaurant provides an array of home cooked meals at incredibly competitive prices when compared with others on the Main Street.

Simple and effective!

Ahhh what can I say about this place, it's just like home. Munaf and Azher who own Zimbay are really genuine and helpful with all our needs. So friendly. Great price on room and great location,  2 min walk to the beach. Also food is reasonable and delicious ☺ Thank you!

Amazing.o

Myself and a few friends popped in here for lunch during our stay in Arugambay. 
Very tasty food, fresh and prepared with care and pride. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and cool - tables with fan available. We would recommend coming here for a bite to eat!
