We stayed there with the family 4 nights and we were received by Dias, our awesome host (always smiling and nice with us). The hotel is located in a very good place, very strategic to visit archeological sites and do safaris. We were there with our 8 months daughter. People were extremely nice to us, always helpful and positive. The rooms are huge and very clean. Everything is very modern and all day and night you can hear birds and animals. The swimming pool is great and food is good. The price of food and accommodation is really good for what you get, I 100% recommend this place. 

Quite place in the middle of the fields

It is the best Villa to stay as a couple or u can even visit with family. The staff was wonderful and food was delicious. Special thanks to Mr. Diaz who is the manager and the all rounder of hotel . He made very special arrangements. Thanks a lot 😊. Cheers mr. Sanjeeva and Mr. Diaz for candle light dinner arrangements.

Best villa

This place deserves to be discovered, a little away from the main Habarana - Dambulla road. This ensures calm except for the cries of animals in the distance which adds to the charm of the place. A haven of peace. The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning. The meals are of the continental type. The staff is available and friendly. To recommend.

Very nice place

We stayed for one night - and wished we could have stayed for longer. The location is perfect - right in the middle of Dambulla & Sigiriya, and the few acre space is beautiful. It has been designed and decorated very tastefully. The Manager, Dias is definitely an experienced hotelier and is very friendly & efficient. The quality of the staff is exceptional, and we felt very free and at home.

Excellent stay!

The Villa was one of the best places we stayed at Habarana. The location is 800 meters away from the Habarana town and you have to drive in through a small village. The environment is extremely calm and quiet. Excellent if you want to get away from your busy and noisy lifestyle. 

Rooms and bathrooms are extremely spacious and well maintained. Super clean and trendy. Loved the whole set up of the villa. But keep in mind that there are no televisions in rooms if you want to watch it. We found it as a positive thing since we just wanted to get away from all the usual things we did at home. 

Staff was extremely helpful with all our needs. Specially I have to mention about the caretaker Dias who was always there to take care of all our needs. He managed everything extremely well and made our stay very pleasant. 

The food at the villa was well seasoned and delicious. We had the freedom to choose what we want to eat during all three meals. And it felt like staying at your own house without having to worry about doing any household chores. 😂

Overall, I would rate Sevanagama Villa a 10/10 for our August stay. 

Excellent Family Getaway 

We've stayed 2 nights with our children.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
Diners and breakfast are served under a patio. Diners are average but breakfast are corrects
Hotel is lost and far from everything, you need a car.
The staff is nice, especially the waiter Dias, but the manager is a slacker: he spent his time on watching TV while swimming pool water is dirty, there is no hot water and the WiFi doesn't work.

Nice but lost and far from everything

A beautifully designed boutique hotel located off the main road and surrounded by rice fields and other crop cultivations. An open layout ensured that the breeze flows through the dining area. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are clean, the staff are so friendly and it is very quiet and peaceful. The only problem was an intermittent cut in electricity, not the fault of the hotel, which has a generator, but it interrupted relaxing in the room. It;s only a short distance to Minneriya where herds of elephants can be seen as well as to the "Lion Rock" of Sigiriya

Peaceful, quiet and convenient village location

We stayed 2 nights to allow to visit Sigiriya, Pollonaruwa and Dambulla and it worked for this purpose. We had one of the upstairs rooms which was huge and had a balcony and was very comfortable. The dining area is well setup with views o the pool and garden and the food is good home style cooking. The staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Good option for Sigiriya 

We stayed 3 nights while visiting Sigirya Rock and Elephant Safari. 9 private villas and enjoyed a quite peaceful stay.  
Ruwan the server was exceptional and management very kind and arranged tuk tuk each night to Habarana town for dinner.
Rooms were recently renovated with nice bathroom and shower. Has character and would highly recommend a stay here. Breakfast a range of Sri Lankan and European menus. 

Well worth the stay

We stayed for 3 nights at Sevanagama Villa. It’s a beautyfull recently renovated place with big rooms,nice bathroom,garden and swimming pool.the main building is nice to sit but attracts a lot of mosquitos and flies in the evening. we didn’t like the dogs neither.
The staff is very friendly and the cook is excellent. We missed a bit more active help in organizing our trips and when i used a local travel agent i noticed the manager was not happy with this. The atmosphere was also a bit akward since we were the only gasts during our stay. This is not the fault of the staff of course, so maybe a bit too low score a 3,5 would be more accurate.
Habarane is an excellent location to visit Sigirya, Pollonuwera, Dambulla and the elephants in nearby nature parks.
