After a pleasant stay last year,  when we found a good deal on this property,  we didn't hesitate to book it.  

The place still clean and well maintained,  comfortable bedroom. 

Courteous service by Bernard,  who multitasks as chef,  Bell boy,  receptionist,  steward and room service guy. 
Couldn't remember exact location,  easily found using Google maps.  

This location is not to be confused with another "Savonrich"  in Trincomalee Street,  Anuradhapura. Apparently that has no connection to these guys and I can't comment on that place because I have never been there or heard anything about it. 

Very good for price. 

Good value for the money: the room was clean, and the water pressure was wonderful. The staff are friendly and professional; however, the food is really overpriced for Sri Lankan standards. I recommend eating elsewhere. An example: hoppers cost 10 rupees everywhere from Columbo to Nuwara Eliya; at Savonrich they are 150 rupees for four. Also, watch your bill. They tried to charge me for breakfast twice!

Great value for the money, but eat elsewhere

We travelled as a family & found this hotel through the internet. It's a very clean hotel and the room was spacious with a very clean bathroom. We had the deluxe family room as it was the only availble room when we booked it. A/C was working but the temperature control wasn't functioning. The staff was accomodating. Breakfast was Western type with toast, an omlette, fruits and tea or coffee. Over all it was a good place as cleanliness was a major importance for us.

Quiet surrounding

A secure place,  ideal as a "base" for exploring Anuradhapura.  Clean linen and towels,  comfortable rooms. Attached bathrooms are very small, but very clean and serve the purpose.
Food is a bit pricey,  but you get many places outside for budget travellers.  

Not a place to stay in and enjoy,  but ideal for a low budget accommodation for for travellers on the move. 

Good courteous service by staff including Aruna and Bernard.  

Actually,  excellent value for money.  No hassle whatever with online booking.  

Some low budget places are known to be "cheesy", poorly maintained with drunk and sometimes boisterous local patrons,  but this place is a fantastic haven without any such issues. 

Free wifi is good,  AC works like a charm. The hand shower or "bidet" in the bathroom is a big bonus for us South Asians!

Overall,  good place.
