I can highly recommend to stay at this place .  they are so lovely and helpful. cookingclass to make  rice and curry with auntie . really clean and safe place . had a really good sleep. they have different options of room . it’s by walk 2 minutes to a really nice calm beach called wild beach .5-7 minutes walk to the super restaurants.

I'm in love with this place. Uncle and auntie (that's what they call themselves) are just sweet. They were always a great help and did everything for us. I love Midigama and this homestay. So cheap, you have your peace, clean and close to the beach, what more do you want? Thank you for a home far away from home.

Home in Midigama

Cheap private rooms with a helpful and friendly family :)  Good location, only short walk to main part of midigama. Delicious breakfast, good shower, very relaxed. Can walk left on main road to lazy left surf break or right at main road and over the bridge to more advanced surf break..can't remember the name :/

Great place to stay

This is a wonderful place. Clean and quiet rooms.

A very nice outside sitting place. Great host. Outstanding food. Home cooked and super fresh. 
Walking distance to the beach. 

Ranjit also offers a travel service and is a very safe driver.

We felt so welcomed and out whole family loved it.

Great stay

Could not thank Ranjith and his family enough for my stay! I stayed there for 2 weeks whilst I was volunteering in an animal shelter. They could not be more accommodating if they tried! House is very clean and homely and just a 10 minute walk from shops/restaurants/beach. The Breakfast was amazing! Real authentic Sri Lankan food. I felt so at home and safe here it was hard to leave! Would recommend Midigama Villa Resort to everyone!

Home away from Home

We spent 3 weeks in Ranjith place and we would have stayed more if we could. Ranjith house is nice and comfy, every room has a fan and the living room and common areas are big. We went at the end of the season and e could enjoy the place all by ourself for many days and was really nice. Many times we got to try fresh fruit that Ranjith's wife would prepare for us and we spent a lot of time playing with Rocky and Nicky the two cute puppy that have just joined this beautiful family. Ranjith gave us a lot of suggestion and helped us to get to our destinations, always making sure we got there and we were happy. 
The house is just 3 minutes walking from Lazy Right and 5 to Lazy left surf spot, you can walk there with your surf board with no need to rent a scooter o tuk tuk, but if you need Ranjith can help you and rent you one. 
We really recommend this place.

Lovely home stay

Thank you for having me. It was such a beautyful time. A Lovely and very helpfull family, good place to stay, if you like it less crowded. You can ask for breakfast, it's delicious! The beach to the two spots lazy left and lezy right is 5min away by walking. Although there is a Tempel more inland, which is nice to see. The monks are very friendly and like to show you the place a bit. 
Would definitely come back :)
