Very Basic Accommodation but suited our needs just fine. They have a small pool to have a dip when sunbathing. It’s not glamorous but is very close to the Yumbo centre, so no taxis needed. All the Bars & Shops are on you doorstep! It’s the perfect location

Basic rooms but the location is perfect

Have stayed in these appts for over 20 years, basic but very clean and in a great position near the Yumbo, buses and cabs. Staff have always been fantastic. Very nice pool area. Sadly we have been informed that Servatur have ceased running the Barbados and we don't know what the future for it is, we are hoping that another company will take it on, will have to wait and see what happens after the lockdown.

I’ve stayed here a few times each time I’ve had a great time staff very friendly close to beach shops and shopping centre not forgetting yumbo five min away  to be fair everything is in walking distance from chemist to beach live shows bars great place see you all again soon 

I love this place

this place is great value for money and in a well location to the yumbo centre (just round corner)
very pleasant staff and rooms cleaned 5 days a week we stay in room number 411  4th floor overlooking the pool area ,can be a little noisy at night (to be expected) but that's no problem , would defo book this hotel again on my stay in Gran Caneria DONT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE POSTS YOU READ ABOUT THIS HOTEL  you get what you pay for and you not staying in your rooms all day as long as you have a clean room and towels and a well equip kitchen thats all you need   CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN   WELL DONE TO ALL STAFF AT THE SERVATUR BARBADOS YOU A CREDIT TO THE SERVATUR CHAIN OF HOTELS

Fine place to stay

Really spacious apartment with amazing views Looking out to the dunes of Maspalomas. 
Good location and friendly staff. The swimming pool is ice cold I couldn’t do it but the kids did. No air con so have to open the windows but then it was so noisy There’s bars and restaurants underneath.
The resort is great if your Gay. If your going on a family holiday I would pick another resort. There’s posters everywhere with naked men offering massages and services. The yumbo Center is full of gay bars and drag shows. The yumbo center has stalls selling leather bondage goods and a lot of the men are walking about dressed in this attire. If you going as a couple it’s fine but with kids be prepared for a lot of questions. Will definitely return to Gran Canaria but will try another resort.

Spacious apartment

We stayed here from 10th-20th Dec 2019.
What should have been a nice break before Xmas turned into rather a nightmare after my wife became unwell on the second day. We didn't know it then but she had gastroenteritis and rather a mess was made in the bedroom and bathroom before I called for an ambulance  (they were a bloody disgrace). When I got back the apartment was spotless. It wasn't the regular cleaners because they were off, it was the head honcho herself. She did an amazing job. Special mentions on Reception go to Manuel and especially Sara who was an absolutely beautiful star. All the staff seemed to know that my wife was ill and they all asked after her when they saw me. We had a corner apartment (319) and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The balcony was huge and had the sun on it all day. If you have a mobility scooter then it can be left in reception to charge quite safely as it is manned 24 hrs a day. The location is perfect for The Yumbo Centre, literally across the road.
Would we stay here again? Abso-bloody-lutely!

The greatest staff and an excellent room.

The appartments are much better than I expected and the location couldn’t be Closer to the Yumbo centre, Very clean well furnished and the pool area is amazing. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I hope I can stay here for pride in May.

Amazing place great staff

We stayed at these apts as a family of four (2 teenage sons 18 and 15) for 9 nights in July. I choose them for their 2 bedrooms because of the kids and I was a bit wary after reading some reviews.. we soon realised there was no need! We loved the room and it was definatley big enough for us.. lovely view of the pool from the balcony.. great pool bar with a friendly lady who was always cheerful and worked very hard. All the staff were very welcoming and when the electric tripped I went to reception to report it and the maintenance guy was already at the room when I got back! Prob was the toaster and he replaced it no trouble.. he was fab and always waved at us after that.. the receptionists answered questions easily. Our fave was a lovely bald guy who's name we didn't catch.. location perfect with plenty of places to eat on the doorstep and the yumbo centre no more than a five min walk away..loads of places to walk to in every direction. All in all we all had a fab time (and it's hard to please teenagers!) and we would def return.cheap and cheerful and excellent value for money

Perfect location

arrived at midnight, easy check in and information from the gentleman on reception. were are a family 2 adults and 3 children. 2 bedroom app, small kitchen, living area and balcony over the pool. everything was fine. pool area is great, there are 2 pools and a pool bar, again everything was fine and clean, also a special mention for the lifeguard who found my son's phone and returned it to us. 5 stars,  for the lifeguard.  it's about a 15 min walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants start as soon as you walk out of the front door. just 100 yards to the yumbo area. if i were a traveller who went to the same place twice, i would stay here. we enjoyed our holiday.
