El Cerrito

We spent one week at this apartments, arrived about 8pm on Saturday, the check in process very quick, the receptionist gave us a welcome pack with information about the area, restaurants etc. She accompanied to the apartment and helped with one of the cases as I am recovering from an ankle fracture and needed help. First impression the apartment is huge located, a spacious bedroom with a massive wardrobe, and excellent bathroom with a proper window and a cavernous kitchen/diner with a sitting area with flat screen TV, opening to a large terrace with direct access to the pool, to my partner delight who swims every day. In the morning we realised the bedroom had a see view, the whole apartment bright and airy ( apt. 120 ) located at the corner, we had loads of space outside. The kitchen area has a two ring cooking facility a good size fridge freezer, pots and pans,good quality dinnerware and even a bottle opener. We were able to have breakfast and sometimes lunch on our very private terrace. El Cerrito are located on a road parallel to the main road, about 5 minutes there are restaurants, a bus stop, supermarkets. The area is lovely with everything you may desire, some people bemoan this the cloudy part of La Palma, but the proximity to Santa Crux is a major plus also about 7 minutes drive from the airport costing 8 Euros. Had a lovely, hired a car to get around, this was our third visit to La Palma and won’t be the last.
