10 reviewsThe accomdation had a good standard. We booked it because our flight had been cancelled. It was quite stressful. We had to walk there from the airport and the phone numbers we were sent from booking.com didn’t answer. I sent a text and after a while I got an answer: “Ana is waiting for you”. When we got there, nobody was waiting for us. We rang the bell of one of the apartments. They didn’t know Ana. We tried another apartment and luckily, this man knew Ana. Ana didn’t know we were coming. But she communicated with the owners and we got the keys of the flat in the end. It was evening and we were hungry. The only shop in he village was closed till the end of March and the only bar was closed because the owner was ill. Ana drove us to the next village to do the shopping and brought us a take-away pizza. The following day she drove us to the port. (A taxi driver who we called told us he had no time when we had asked how much the journey to the port would cost). Ana was our best experience from El Hierro. We would like to thank her once more this way. She doesn’t speak English but we hope someone can tell her.
