We booked our accommodation some 10 months ago - so got our room booked at an exceptional price 😉 I'd become apprehensive reading about how poor the soundproofing of the rooms is/how uncomfortable the beds were, but that wasn't our experience at all! When we arrived I specifically asked to have a room which enjoyed the evening sun and we were delighted with the room that was appointed. It was spacious, very comfortable beds and an incredibly tranquil part of the hotel (room 169). We particularly enjoyed the internal courtyard of the Palacio where we enjoyed the Pinchos. Wish we'd known in the first instance just how cheap a glass of wine was (3 euros) in order to qualify for a free Pinchos!! All in all couldn't have imagined staying in better accommodation from which to explore Ávila.
