Nice host and really good location. It's near
to hongdae and the underground rail station. The host has a cute cat. ^v^ I stayed for two nights and I got very good experience. I recommend you to book this hostel when you come to Seoul.

A warm house in Hongdae

Oazzang is an absolutely wonderful host. I booked this late in the evening - he was incredibly accommodating. I ended up meeting him out for some drinks - he is super-friendly. The location of his spot is perfect, as well!

Would definitely stay again when I'm in Seoul.

Amazing place to stay!

For a hostel and budget stay, I found this to be a great affordable location in Hongdae. 

A few pointers though, there is a cat. He's wonderful but could be an issue if you're allergic. He likes hanging out in the rooms and rubbing up against your legs. 
There is also only one bathroom, so when fully booked it can get a little difficult to get your shower in. 
It's a small place, so like most hostels, not very private. However most visitors interested in this type of accommodation usually have stayed at a hostel to before, so that's nothing new :)

Overall though I really enjoyed my stay and Oazzang/Captain was a great host. Very punk rock awesome, and living his life to the fullest.

Fun Hostel and Awesome Host.

Super central place in Hongdae with a really cool vibe :) You can feel that the owner put his true himself in this place. Perfect for solo travellers : cool living room with a kitchen to chill and meet people, one practical bathroom and classic dormitories with everything you need

Perfect place for free spirits !!

Super friendly host. In a great location. A little musty when you first come in but pretty much all korean houses are like that. Overall would recommend for the solo traveler or group of friends. Not really sure about couples though.

Oasis guest house, the best guest house in hongdae.
The owner, our beloved Capitain is the one who will make your stay something special. If you want to be in a central, clean and funny place then just book and you will not regret it.

The best place in Hongdae

Great guest house spot in a very good location in Seoul. Friendly owner. Friendly cat. Good directions easy to find. Right near lots of amenities. Comfortable living room common space. Would recommend for staying in Seoul on a budget

Oasis review

Thank you, Oazzang, for being a Great & Friendly Host! Surrounding Lots of cafe, restaurant, minimarts & shops. Able to taste lots local korean food. Easy access to city train & can travel from one place to another. We will come back for our next visit.

Oasis Guesthouse stay

Captain O was such a pleasure! He is soo funny and hospitable, he made sure we were having fun, safe, and even took me to a concert for free. The location is perfect for food, shopping and partying. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Seoul.

Best Guest House in Seoul

Oazzang was very friendly. This was my first guest house experience in Korea and must say it was better than staying in a hotel. The location was also great we were walking distance from a lot of shopping stores, the club scene and subway station :)
