Attended a wedding, so the extended family booked out the whole venue. Lovely old farmhouse on big plot, well equipped rooms, friendly accomidating hosts, full buffet breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay! 

Home away from home

A gem of a find, me and my husband decided to tour the west cape without pre booking anywhere, we ended up in wellington and stumbled across this amazing guest house. A friendly warm welcome awaited us from the owner and he showed us to our room. A large gorgeous double room with great facilities, lovely large shower room and a gorgeous Victoria and Albert bath in the room, the room is spotlessly clean and has a comfy double bed. There is a beautiful courtyard a lovely pool with sun loungers which then leads onto the most beautiful garden with a large pond. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. The security is really good with electric gates, the best recommendation is to go look for yourself, you will not be disappointed

Gem Find

We attended a wedding nearby and decided to book in at this lovely B&B.
Geert welcomed us warmly and showed us our lovely room.
Unfortunately we were away most of the day, until later in the evening, so we didn't get the full experience, but we slept very well in the comfortable bed. 
Breakfast in the morning.... Wow! What a spread! I wished I had space for everything. It was so nicely presented and everything nice and fresh. Very impressive.
Just when I thought I couldn't eat another thing, Geert's wife brought us lovely waffles!
Well, who can resist?
Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but we would definitely go back and recommend the place. It's really lovely and a beautiful garden too.

GREAT HOSTS!

This guesthouse has it all!  Very friendly hosts, beautiful and extremely comfortable room, lovely breakfast, lush and tranquil garden.  Beautifully clean pool.  We were in Wellington for two nights, it was scorching hot and we attended a motorsport event in the sun.  This guesthouse was an oasis of cool and calm and relaxation.  I can't recommend it highly enough.  The hosts are so lovely and really make sure you have a great experience.

Great place to stay in Wellington

We stayed for one night but we will definitely be back again. The welcome was great - glass of wine on arrival and a spot to relax by the pool. Parking secure. Room was a delight and the attention to detail was excellent. Bed was large and comfy. Continental breakfast was more than ample and delicious. Great garden to wander in. All in all an excellent place. We will be recommending it and have done so already to friends.

Very welcoming and awesome establishment

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Sauvignon Country Lodge, sadly only for one night, we were attending a wedding in the area, as we would have happily stayed longer!

The Lodge is a stunning oasis for a weekend get away, gorgeous garden, and our room was spacious with everything one needs.

The hosts are super friendly, and know how to allow you space, while still being available should you need anything.

Breakfast was delicious, we sat outside, with everything we could need or want laid out for us. 

I would recommend this property in a heart beat, and I can't wait till we have an opportunity to return!

Stunning!

We stayed here for three nights at the end of January 2018. It was our last stay of a road trip on the Western coast. We could not have been more delighted with the most friendly welcome we received, the beautiful stylish accommodation and the excellent and bountiful breakfast. We are a couple from Oxford England and we travelled with a friend from Johannesburg and we all declared this the best accommodation of our trip and pretty well the finest B&B of our experience. Every detail was perfect. We would not hesitate in recommending this fabulous place.

Everything you could wish for in the most beautiful setting.

So central, beautiful finishes. The attention to detail is extraordinary.   Our room was very spacious, lovely open plan. The breakfast is fantastic, so much variety, simply delicious.
Very good value for money!

Awesome establishment!

My husband and I stayed over at Sauvignon Lodge when going to a wedding on a wine farm in Wellington. We received a very warm welcome and had a lovely spacious room with a big comfortable bed. Lovely coffee making facilities and a fridge. Was an extremely cold day but we have the air conditioning which kept us cosy. The owners went above and beyond and gave us a lift too and from the wedding. Highly recommend.
