Well appointed rooms with lots of space and nicely decorated. Access to small pool and sun loungers. Close access to beach and walking areas.  Right next door to Blue Rocks Cafe which serves excellent food and noise was not an issue at all. 
Note: No air conditioning but quiet ceiling fan.

Good location for beach and restaurant

The location is excellent, the rooms are in top shape and very nicely furnished. It is great to have a little deck for each room, the staff is very friendly and going out of their way. 
The breakfast on the deck is wonderful as you see amazing birds and butterflies come by. 
We loved it. 
The downstairs rooms can be noisy.

A place worth staying longer

What a place! Large, comfortable rooms with a wood fire in each! Clean and tidy. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic experience. Nature's Valley is a wonderful destination needing a few days to make the most of what it has to offer.

Peace and quiet in comfort

What a lovely surprise! We booked online and had no idea what we were in for. The lodge IS Tranquil, the staff are absolutely on the ball and very polite and willing to ensure your needs are met.  The rooms are simple but comfortably furnished with both fans and air-con and a small bar fridge, fresh water was put in the room every day and tea/ coffee facilities were replenished.  The absolute "berries for me" was as a coffee snob, I was able to go upstairs and help myself to the Nespresso machine in the kitchen!  The breakfast table was a winner, very fresh food every morning and your own choice of a hot breakfast too.  We made use of the braai in the pool garden and enjoyed sitting under the trees.  The Natures Valley restaurant is right next door, and the path to the beach is steps away! And what a beach- lovely!!  Highly recommend this establishment and will go back for sure!!!  My only complaint (and this honest to God! if you sleep under the honeymoon suite, - please ask the guests to take off their hiking boots when they enter the room!) there was European family above us who clomped around for ages in what we imagined was their boots!!) at 10pm at night!  Other than that - we love love love the place! Hats off to the lovely staff working there, you guys were great!!

December holiday

In the heart of beautiful Nature's Valley just a few yards from the pristine sandy beach. Operated by knowledgeable staff, without any fuss, with a friendly welcome, good service and a great value breakfast. We walked, encountered bushbuck, duiker and monkeys and we spotted the Knysna Turaco. We hiked to the look-out point with its great coastal view. We rested by the fire and we had a great sleep. It was also easy to reach Stormsriver mouth, Plettenberg Bay and even Knysna activities from here. Highly recommended.

Exactly what we wanted

I know Natures Valley from my primary school days and I have always wanted to stay at Tranquility Lodge. We finally did and     we enjoyed every second. 
The village had a power outage during our stay, Our hosts quickly had a backup generator going and we had power again. 

The Lodge has a perfect location, a hop and a skip to the beautiful 2km white sandy beach, most of the time you have this beach to yourself. It is close to Natures Valley’s only restaurant with wood-fired pizzas and a la carte menu. 
Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, it had everything we needed with our own deck where we could sit and listen to the Knysna Lourie’s in the trees. 

The breakfast was great, with freshly baked croissants and Danish pastries, lovely locally produced cheese, a great selection of continental breakfast with a choice of a hot breakfast with beautifully poached eggs or whatever you fancy. 

I can definitely recommend staying here and doing the Salt River Hike. We will definitely return for a longer stay. 

Close to Nature

a little peace of paradise...no driving anywhere from this fantastic lodge...beach across the road...great place to relax and explore on foot...lots to do...wish we had more time to spend in the area...will be back for longer next time

Great value!!

Location is perfect, for the beach and the only eating place in NV.  Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a private sit out area, and right next to the pool.  Excellent breakfast: lots of fresh fruit and local products and hot breakfast cooked to order.  Staff were friendly and keen to please.  We were only at the property about 19 hours, and power was off for 12.  The remote location is understood and power outage is not the fault of the property, but they do really need an alternative power source.  Couldn't even reach them by phone when it was urgent.  A big thank you to manager Vernon who went above and beyond to get our passports (left in safe) to us in Cape Town within 24 hours.

Very good stay at the beach

Very tucked away location within walking distance to a desolate beach. We went here to do the Face Adrenalin bungee jump and this was the closest place for a one night stay for a good value. We did not know at the time of booking that this B&B was connected to the Face Adrenalin company, so we unfortunately did not get to enjoy the jump at a discounted price since we already pre-booked, but my boyfriend who was not jumping, got to accompany me for free and I did get free photos. 

Location was safe and secure, we parked right on the property. The room was simple and cozy, cutely decorated and clean. We did not experience any noise issues as we had the room at the far end with only one wall adjacent to another room. We were warned about the aggressive and intrusive nature of the local baboons but had no problems with them. Breakfast was very tasty. 

Would definitely recommend staying here, the host and staff were lovely!

Excellent Value and Further Savings!

I was greeted by the lady in the office not with an “hello” - just a rude “I have been waiting for you!”....😳
You cannot come and go as you please with your own remote for the motor gate, you are dependent on staff all the time.
We stayed in Forest room. The bedroom itself is tiny... there is a stoep area but it is not very private. The bathroom is fine.
Taking a shower is cumbersome and not a pleasure. The water goes hot-cold-hot-cold all the time. When we checked out there was also no water.... we couldn’t even wash our hands. 
The mattress needs replacement and is worn down on the one side. 
My biggest complaint however is about the smoking guests in the garden! Their cigarette smoke came up to our room all the time! So, we had to keep all doors and windows closed! Our room smelled like smoke for much of our stay. Unacceptable! 
The breakfast however is lovely!!!
