I made a reservation to stay at Dumelang Lodge for the entirety of July. Initially, everything went smoothly during the first few days. However, starting around July 7th, we experienced a complete power outage that lasted for the entire month. Throughout this period, there was no attempt from the Manager/Owner to communicate or address the issue. As a result, we had to endure using cold water for bathing during the coldest part of the month, and the security gate remained unlocked. Surprisingly, the owner did not take any steps to relocate us to her other guest house, nor did she provide any form of communication regarding the situation.

Worst Experience Ever

Rooms very spacious and clean. Staff and host makes you feel really at home. Such a peaceful ambience. You can hear the sounds of the birds chirping away. Feels like one is miles away from the city yet the place is so central with all necessary amenities within close proximity. Makes for a perfect break away!

Superb service and hospitable staff!

I wouldn't reccommend anyone to book this place. Firstly the lady who is managing this guesthouse is very rude and doesn't know anything that has to do with customer service. What you see on the website is somethinga that you will never experience. The kitchen is filthy, the swabs in the kitchen are like they were cleaning the car engine. Pans and pots are sticky. Lastly, don't expect your deposit back from these people because you will never get it back. It's been two weeks since I vacated the place but I am still waiting for my deposit.
