We really enjoyed our stay at Olyfenhuis. The room was clean and spacious with a super comfortable bed and everything we needed. Very friendly service and best value for your money!! We'll be back! :)

This is a great place to stay!

We absolutely loved this little place. It was neat, clean, cozy and smelled really nice. You have everything you need even with filter coffee you can make yourself too. The couple of the house were very friendly and helped with everything, even helping us carry our luggage. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again. 

Little quiet place to stay...

I loved it here - have tried various places previously and this one definitely the best.  We did have a good room, the family room with ample space and our own little garden which was private and we were able to sit in the sun.  Martina was a super-host and really looked after us well.  It's about 5-10 minutes walk into the little town so that too was perfect.

Rustic & quaint

We decided to stay over in Riebeeck on the     spur of the moment and stayed in a lovely appointed twin room with a kitchenette in the rear of the property.

Lots of attention to detail and all the sport channels!

Also has a pool in the back for the really hot days!

Lovely Clean well appointed room

From the photos, you can already gauge that this fairytale-style accommodation was designed to make you feel right at home. But the decor has nothing on the hospitality of the landlord, Martina, who upon hearing that we would like to do a cooking course moved us to a larger cottage so we could have the course in the comfort of our own cottage. The cottages are equipped with aircon (which is a must in summer), tea and coffee making facilities (including a plunger which is a big plus for a coffee snob like me) and an honesty fridge filled with yogurt and drinks. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a comfortable weekend away.

Home away from home in Riebeeck Kasteel

Clean rooms, fantastic beds, awesome towels and a friendly owner who even kept an eye on our two kids, while we attended a wedding. 
The region is suffering a terrible drought. Guests should be sympathetic to that when they realize the pool is closed.
We will return there any time. 

Great hospitality

Leon & Martina run this cozy small guesthouse with such personal care here in Riebeek. Staying here for a few weeks and provided with a clean, spacious and great room. Comfy bed, air conditioning, a pool, fridge. Perfect to stay as a couple, by yourself, with your family or friends. 

You two feel like family to me and I've never felt more safe and at home. Great job of maintaining a beautiful place to stay for many guests from all over the world. Will be back once again next time!!

A second home!

If you want to relax in a proper way this is the Town and the guest house for you.
A lovely couple run a splendid establishment in the quietest of places. Riebeek Kasteel is an amazing little Town that is probably no different now to what it was 100 years ago. 
Leon and Martina have set up a cracking place in a colonial style on the outskirts of town. A 10 minute walk gets you into the centre. Good restaurants, pubs and shops abound and to think I'd never heard of it leaves me wondering what else I'm missing in the world.

I met a man in Dublin

My Wife, her sister, my son and his girlfriend, myself attended a family wedding in Riebeek Kasteel, and this was the perfect place, neat, tidy, all amenities to chill out after our trip from Johannesburg, and then also prepare for the wedding and then the quite nights sleep afterwards. Our hosts were also extremely accommodating and gave us advice on where to go in the area before our return. Also extremely affordable and recommended.
