Fantastic stay. House was convenient in a very quiet environment. The house was cosy and had two bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. We made a walk to the dam. That was beautiful with the company of Wilson the dog. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

We will be back!!!

Dalmore Farm Guest House

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city then look no further than Dalmore Farm Guest House.  It was an absolutely beautiful setting and the atmosphere was so peaceful. They have an honesty bar as well as an honesty shop. They make a fire at night so that you can go and sit and have a drink. The breakfast was so delicious and I cannot explain how amazing the dinner was.  We had fillet with a brocolli salad as well as a potato bake. Best tasting meat ever. The rooms are very spacious and comfy. Love the family atmosphere and cant wait to go back in June as well as september.

The most relaxing weekend we've had in a long time

Beautiful, peaceful & tranquil location, comfortable accommodation & friendly service. The pool was a plus. Would highly recommend for people looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would love to visit again.

Stunning views, beautiful animals and lovely food. Although basically in the Dundees city centre, you feel as though you’re in a secluded paradise. 
Lights during loadshedding, couldn’t have asked for more.

I love Dalmore. Superb and genuine hospitality, really well appointed accommodation with lots of thoughtful extras. The location and setting speak for themselves. Every time I visit I can’t wait for the next opportunity. This spot has really just got it right.

We had a wonderful break at Dalmore Guest Farm.  Our accommodation was beautifully rustic and very comfortable. It was definitely off grid which we loved. You travel down a 4km track to find the farm - which was great fun in our saloon hire car!

Delyse, our host, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful as was Andrew and Pipa, the owners.  We enjoyed a 3 nights stay and had dinner and breakfast every day.  The food was locally produced and amazingly prepared (sometimes under candlelight during the few times when load-shedding was in effect - this added to the charm. The highlight was the fillet steak night.  We also loved the honesty bar.

The Drakensberg scenery was stunning and there was lots to do.  The people in this area are very welcoming.  We wished we had planned to stay there longer.  Highlight trips - the Falconry show (the best I have seen in spectacular setting, the chocolate and beer tasting, canopy tour (zip lining).

Very welcoming; peaceful; relaxing; delightful accommodation

Our stay at Dalmore was excellent. Not only were the rooms spacious, clean and well equipped but the rest of the farm was also wonderful, especially for families with young kids. I would recommend that you have dinner at least once. The food was amazing.

Place is a gem, the kids had an absolute blast and should bring their bikes if they have. The host was amazing and was always willing to help. We felt totally comfortable to let our kids run off to the play ground or play with the animals. We have made this a compulsory family destination going forward.

Definitely a 5/5! We were together with our daughter of 3 and she and we had an amazing time! Everything was perfect: beds, shower, bath, hygiene, food, space, quietness, animals (dog & cats), playground, service. A top that I would give: the roads are not all so good towards the accommodation. Make sure that you take the ‘good’ road and that is not always the road that Google suggest.

We will coming back next year! We are already planning the trip:)
