68 reviewsWhat can I say, we are like part of the family, now. We have visited Penzion Livada for 25 years, me myself have been 37 times. I enjoyed it as much the last visit, as I did my first. If I stayed anywhere else I would be dissapointed. Rooms are clean and comfortable and tended daily, most offer fantastic views to the mountains in the Julian alps or down the valley to the italian border. Balconies are adorned with beautiful flowers throughout the summer. You could not get a better breakfast anywhere, Buffet cold meats and cheeses, fruit and pickles, cerials and seeds and much more. Eggs cooked how you like then with bacon or ham, scrambled, boiled, poached or fried, I could go on. Home made Jams, cakes and pastries, made by mums and local farms make it extra special. A very wide selection is available so there is something for everyone. On nice sunny days you can eat breakfast outside on the terrace and enjoy a couple of drinks in the pagoda whilst watching the world go by. I feel very much at home here.
