The owner was pleasantly welcoming.The place was spotless clean, quiet atmosphere which made our stay at Pension Hibiscus peaceful and excited.One of the top guesthouse on La Digue island.Thank you to the owner and family. From Christianne and Victor date 10-12th April room 02.

Excellence 

Fabulous stay at a lovely establishment, with top notch customer service. The owner was always super friendly and helpful and shared great advice throughout the stay. 

Would highly recommend Pension Hibiscus. The location is really quite close to the main jetty so easily accessible and within walking distance. 

Would advise bringing a small headlamp or torch though if you are planning to venture out a bit late into the evening as a general safety tip as not all the bikes have lights on them on La Digue and some segments of the island are not well covered by street lights.

Fabulous place to stay on La Digue with a warm and welcoming environment

comfortable clean room with kitchen and patio with deck chairs and table, Jennita was very nice and kind, she let us find bikes directly outside the room to get around by paying cheaper price than in the center of the island, the location is a bit off-center, but it is just minutes away from the supermarket, a few restaurants, and the very good and cheap Gala Takeaway

Lovely Stay!

It has been wonderful to expend some days here. Jenitta and Alice are the perfect hosts. They help you whatever you need,, including special services like breakfast, bikes, recommendations, solving problems with flights. If La Digue is specially marvellous is also because this place exists.

Completely  perfect!

I would give them 10 stars if I could. This place feels like staying with family members, they are super nice and kind. They were really helpful and gave us coffee, oil and fruit. The family lives there so I felt very secure.
The room was very cosy and the kitchen has all the utensils that you need. 
The location was wonderful, quiet and very close to jetty. From here you can bike around all Island and explore this beautiful paradise. There are shops and supermarket close by. Totally recommended. 

Home away from home

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed It. There are many guesthouses at the island, but this one has a really nice atmosphere. Great hospitality by Jennita and her lovely family / staff and we were well taken care of. We had room no.4 which doesnt have a kitchen, but a refrigerator snd a microwave oven - good enough for us, and we were served breakfast in the pavillion every morning between 8-9. Fresh fruit, juice, eggs ( your style ) and always something baked. The room and property were very clean. Room nice decorated with hibiscus flowers every day. Supermarket close by. Also close by Anse D’Source Argent 10 minutes away. Rent a bike from the guy on the corner by the small shop and you can enjoy some days in paradise. 

Lovely stay on a lovely Island ! 

We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Hibiscus and would love to return there again one day. The host, Jennita, welcomed us with a warm heart upon arrival. The rooms were spotless clean and also cleaned daily. Our kitchenette was well equipped with all the basic necessities. TV & Wifi in the room. 

Warm welcome

Had the pleasure of staying at Pension Hibiscus for three nights, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Location - on south end of La Passe close to Anse Source d’Argent, and within walking distance of the largest supermarket on the island and a Barclays ATM. Has ample room to park your rental bikes
Room - very clean, large and with own kitchen and porch (room 2) with towels changed every day
Service - always with a smile, prompt and helpful

Great stay

we were very happy to stay at Pension hibiscus. The small kitchenette was ok and the room and bathroom very clean. We appreciated the hospitality and kindness. There was a problem with electricity (black-out every day) but we appreciated the courtesy of jennita and barry who also gave us a ride to the port without any charge. We spent 12 days between Praslin, La Digue and Mahè and Pension hibiscus was the best Guesthouse accomodation we stayed

short vacation in La Digue

I stayed 6 nights at this wonderful guest house in La Digue on a self catering basis. The place is right in the centre close to shops, restaurants and the beaches. The room was great with a perfect porch where you could enjoy your meals and watch the fruit bats take off for the night. I hired a bike through the guest house and explored the island accordingly. Great snorkelling from Anse D’Argent and amazing waves at Grand Anse. La Digue is the most Charming Island you can imaging. - Great snorkelling trips to Coco, Felicity and the Sister Islands.
