This place is combination of elegant,friendly and modern house for holiday.We always
stay at that nice place.It is suitable also for old ones also for children.Everything is so close for walk.Nowadays they have new caffe and pizzeria which is very suitable.You can enyou in ypur coffe with the osunds of forest and ZOO park nera buy.

If you want to stay near the Palic Lake and have a nice place to stay visit Vila Elizabet
Not far from the lake nice rooms wifi and tv clean and pretty cheap.
I would suggest to make an reservation in advance as it's quite full 
The people are very friendly
If you are visiting Palic with your pet you will have to pay an extra fee but still not so bad
I would strongly recommend if you are around to visit 

Great view, quiet, peaceful. Friendly staff. Convenient free parking. The hotel has a cafe with great view of the lake. The room was OK. Large and comfortable bathroom. No doubt, I recommend the hotel.

Spent a night there. Very nice site, on the side of lake Palic, beautiful view, although the lake itself is unfortunately not suitable for bathing. The villa itself is relatively new, with friendly staff. The room and the bed are good, they provide for a good sleep. There are acutally rooms serving with a view over the lake, we had on overlooking the zoo. The place is quiet, sometimes the moaning of the lonesome elephant can be heard.
The villa provides toys for children in the garden, a pool. There is also a café, consumption is not mandatory of course, but it's nice to sit out there in the morning. Breakfast is not included in the price by default.
The center of Palic is not far even by foot and the center of Szabadka/Subotica is only a comfortable bike-ride away.
If I have to add a piece of critique I would say that the towels provided were smaller than I like them, and in our first floor room the water pressure was slightly less than optimal.
But in general the place would be first option if choosing a place in Palic.

Vila Elizabet is a privately owned guest house, located a stone's through from Velika terasa, Ženski strand and the Riblja Čarda restaurant, and only a few minutes walk from Palić village and the zoo.  While convenient, the location is also very quiet, with no passing traffic.  Szolt, the owner, is extremely pleasant and helpful, and all in all, Vila Elizabet offers excellent value for money.

Excellent option for Palić

I've just checked in and got really surprised. 

We've booked a family apartment few days ago. I've got all the details and rates via phone. My wife called afterwards to confirm everything (as she speaks Hungarian) and got a confirmation for a family apartment w/ balcony. She also confirmed rates and availability with the "reservation manager".

Upon arrival the other person told us that we have *no reservation at all*, but she will figure it out. Once we got the keys, it turned up it's a double room with a sofa bed and no balcony. The other person - and she's apparently in charge - asked for *more money* for the apartment. The explanation was "You've spoke to mister X and he doesn't really know things"

I've stayed in many resorts, hotels and B&Bs to be scammed like that. 

Otherwise the location is great and it's mostly clean. AC needs a repair.
