The hotel is located around 3 km from Masjid al Haram not as claimed by the hotel (1.5 km from the Masjid). The hotel and the room are generally clean. The furniture of the room was old. The linen was clean but too old with some stains. The bathroom was small but the shower pressure was strong and fantastic. We were a group of 4; every two in a room. Our room was not cleaned for the whole duration of the stay but the other room was cleaned on request.

Staff are very friendly and ready to serve at any time. They helped us buying zamzam water and brought the water to the rooms. There a free bus service to a Haram Mosque and back to the hotel. 

The bus takes you to a point where you have to take another bus to the Mosque and vice versa. From that point there is a charge to the mosque (200 Saudi Riyal) one way. there is a time table in the hotel lobby indicating the time of the bus (attached). However, the times are not really accurate and they depend on passenger's availability. Sometimes the bus leaves early and sometimes late. There are two drives and are available on call any way.

Walking to Masjid al Haram takes between 35 to 40 minutes! There are plenty of shops close to the hotel and along the way to the Mosque. The are a number of restaurents as well, a health center and a pharmacy.

Late checkout was allowed to 1600. The hotel arranged transport to the hotel at a cost of 250 Suadi riyal for 4 of us with our luggages. You need to ask for any service you need like cleaning the room or any other requirement. The services are not provided automatically but once asked they are quick on providing them. In brief the bed sheets and the toilet were clean which I am more interested! 

The rating I gave is relative to what I heard from other hotels in the area. I would have given it 2 or 2.5. The other 3 were happy with the hotel and encouraged me to give it even higher than 3!

Ask for service

The hotel is very far from the Haram Sharif and hard to get the taxi in the morning. No amenities in the room except a very cheap one soap and shampoo.   Highly disappointed. We will not advise anybody to book this hotel.

Budget Hotel

I stayed in this hotel during Ramadan i would not recommend this hotel if you want a hotel close to the haram  it is so far from the Haram you have to take two buses and still walk for about 20 mins before reaching the haram and on the return journey we was waiting up to 40 mins for the hotel buses to arrive the rooms are very small and tight and the worst thing was the bathroom had a really bad smell coming from it I  feel I have to share my experience with others so they know what to expect before booking as the info on the hotel website is not entirely true
