Superbly decorated ,lovely location nestled between Tesila and Brasov Romania in the Valea Neagra region.  A great couples retreat and children are welcome too.  The rooms are warm and comfortable and the location is a great getaway for hiking and local sight seeing.  A great retreat!!

Beautiful 

Wonderful place, far away from city noize, green trees.
Excelent service and accomodation, a great place for relaxing.
You shoud try their local beverages, "zmeurata & afinata".
The road, 6km (from the village) is unpaved road, but it's worth it.
They also have a nice garden where the childrens can play.

Great relaxing place

The room was nice and cozy. Even though we went there in August, it was cold due to the raining, but the heat was on during the night. The food was good, the personel was polite, we were surrounded by nature, it was very relaxing.
They also have a playground for kids, with a trampoline.
The last 3 km are not paved, it's a forrest road, but you can drive it easily and the view is quite nice.

Pros: the view, the quiet, the amenities, the hospitaliy, the athmosphere.
Cons: the exagerate prices of food. The food was basic, no specialities. For the same dish we spent 1/2 the price in another restaurant. The room was clean, except for the bathroom. The shower bar and the sink tap looked as if they haven't been cleaned în over a month.

Nice vacation

Way to get there is simply a pain - and you will not be warned in advance by any means (ie., through own site, notes on other reservation sites, confirmation emails) - last few km do not carry asphalt, so its a pure country road which takes some long 20 minutes. When finally reaching destination, first thing one encounters upon arrival will be the unskilled owners (and staff) who ask you to take your shoes off if you want to enter; there is also a second line within the same 2 minutes welcome speech: a strong suggesting to pay at that moment for the stay that just begins.... are they unsure that you might change your mind and abandon the experience that just starts?:). Food wise, what you will get at the table (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is absolutely below standards, even for not so seasoned travelers - almost everything was either tasteless (beef, pork) or ruined (fish). Prices though are in the upper range, and unfortunately that was not enough for the owners as they adjust them upwards even further (...in a pure national style: overall weights of the products are higher on the price list and bill than on your dish - eg., fish, and anything that can be billed - e.g, bread, mustard, is added on top of whatever one orders). We ended up paying a total of 425 EUR (2100 ron) for a two nights stay, which were definitely not worth. A completely unpleasant experience all in all
