It's about a 10-minute drive to the old town by car, but if you need food delivered to the hotel, it is possible. The rooms are more like small apartments - the ground floor being a lounge area with a tv, and the loft area is the bedroom. The decor is really well thought out, and the Japanese garden is also a nice touch - sadly we weren't able to enjoy it as we came in spring and it was still cold.

Great Japanese decor

Really enjoyed our short time here in casa lilys retreat would of loved to have stayed longer. So peaceful. Also very clean facilities and friendly people. Would love to go back. Would highly recommend this place. Really good value for money. The gardens are really unique. 

A great experience in Casa Lillys

A slice of Japan in Romania . Friendly and helpful owner - the whole place is run and managed by the host couple. The kitchen was shared but was fully equipped and we were able to prepare meals. The outdoor and garden was relaxing and the view from the balcony great .

Highly recommend to all that are searching for something new.
When you get to the location, it doesn't look like something special. But the moment you walk through the entrance doors the smell of ancient Japan welcomes you. After you finish going up you enter the interior garden and hear the water falling, birds singing and complete silence. Perfect place to recharge your batteries. Confy and clean rooms with lots of space. 40 min by walk and 5 min by car to the old city center. 

A gem in the mountains

July 2018:
Plus points: Very kind owner with a beautiful garden. The owner was so nice to let us cook and let us drink a bottle of liqueur. 

Maybe points: The neighbor has a dog and sometimes he comes over to the garden. The owner chase him away, if you don't like it (I didn't mind it at all). 

Minus points: The route towards the hotel was awful.

A little Japan in Romania

An interesting place, decorated and furnished in Japanese style. Very welcoming hosts, carefully attentive to every small detail. Very clean rooms, warmth, terrace in the yard, barbecue area. Surely we'll be back!

I can literally bet that you can't find a better staying in Sighisoara than this. Nice place, nice hosts, best conditions. We were served with traditional romanian drinks and lots of stories from childhood by our host. Everything we needed they were a call away and answered if we needed something. I highly recommend this place if you want to see a unique place with a japanesse influence. I rate it 10/10. I will definitely stay here should i  visit the town again

Best place in sighisoara

Perfect location for our stay in Sighisoara. Nowhere in this city could find better! Awesome bed and quiet place, we felt better than home! The owners were very carefull with us and make us feel larger than we can imagined! Terrace (where we were served as a house gift for free tuica and wine) is outstandig and panoramic view let us breathless! Thank you dear Casa Lily!

Excellent accomodation and very nice owners

To drive there is an experience on itself. Gravel road and narrow.
We arrived just before 2 pm and Luci was waiting for us eager to assist and explain about the place. In the reception we were welcomed by a samurai that Luci just finished. The whole place has a japanese theme. Everything made by Luci and his wife, Lily.
The rooms, garden and terrasse is so nice. A kitchen to share with the other guests and Luci is more than happy to fire up the grill for you. 
When you stay here you frem like you belong to the family and it is a good chance that you get to know the other guests too.
