We had 2 double rooms booked over the Easter holiday, it was the first time we stayed there and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities available. The rooms had high-quality furniture and the mattress was by far the most comfortable one I've ever experienced in any type of accommodation until now. Everything was very neat and tidy, the bathroom was sparkle-clean, and the room decoration was chic, warm and in a tasteful arrangement. The staff were very friendly and ready to assist at any time, the room was cleaned on a regular basis throughout our stay. The outside garden terrace is absolutely wonderful, full of shady trees, discreet lighting and relaxing music playing in the background. Had the weather been warmer, we would have stayed out there every night until late.

Excellent service all around

Every time we have the chance (we come from Moldova region) we stop here for lunch. The garden is very serene and the dishes are diversified. The sheep pastrami comes with grilled polenta, garlic sauce and potatoes, huge dish very tasty as they make their own pastrami. The beer butter chicken is also tasty, with home made fries and home made mayonnaise, again large portion. Hard to go anywhere else in Focsani and we would return more often. Very nice service and the prices are mid level, you can have a steak for 40-50 Ron. 

Great value for money and service

I had a really good time at Oscar this year. The garden has its own magic and it's lovely to have a meal there. The food can be a little better sometimes, but in my opinion, at this time, this is the best restaurant in Focsani. The service was amazing and I want to thank especially Florin for his attention on details and Elena for her positivity. 
Definitely will be back as soon as possible.

Enjoyed every single moment

Myself and my parents stayed for 3 differents trips at this hotel This year it is the last time will stay here. My father had the room at the end of the building, the room had a problem, stinking as a sewer. They tried to put a product at the bathroom but it was simply unbearable. Everyday I complained, they said it was fixed and they never offered to change him from the room even if the hotel was empty. The owner was not there so I guess when his not around the staff seems just not too interested in keeping up the standards. It is the last time will stay here. It is a petty as the location is good and the rooms are big and beautiful but if they are smelling bad it is just not worth it as this place is quite expensive for a small provincial town.

Big deception this year

Old rooms and run down but nice accomodating staff. The bathroom had a stale smell . Wouldn't recommend it unless no better option exists. Food was great for dinner but not so much for breakfast.
OK but not much more. 

Very old

We spent there one night. the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was clean and had some amenities. 
The front desk people were hospitable and helpful. Dinner was very very good.
The only bad thing is that there is no elevator.

Beautiful room

Very tasty food. dishes go from traditional to modern and each one is the best in its category. We had lunch in a spacios garden with lots of flowers, a kids play area and efficient service. Everything was excellent.
