Complex & Spa Dorna Arini

Vatra Dorna is a very beautiful town of Romania. After two nights staying in the nothern part of country we're entering to the region Moldova. Driving through the mountains from the northern part of the country, the landscape was awesome, we have a very scenic drive. Vatra Dorna is another picturesque town with beautiful parks and buildings Our hotel is located outside the center about 5 km. It is in a very quite place next to Vatra Dorna Monastery. A huge complex hotel with spa and other relaxing treatment. The hotel location is good for traveler with car, there are no public transportations this way. A nice environment where you can walk next to a river, you came to a quiet and peaceful place. The monastery is next door, is difficult to understand because the monastery is in the same complex. I think the owner of this hotel own the monastery as well, because the spa is inside the complex of monastery. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor is very convenient for people staying here, no need to drive the center. The hotel has no clear designation, we have to look where to check-in. The hotel is complete in fence, no sign of where the reception office. We have to walk around to find the office, we enter to a door which we doesn't know where to go. But we came inside a restaurant. There is a strair that took us to the office Check-in goes pretty good even though the girl behind desk can't speak English. The hotel lobby is very roomy with sitting area. We have a room on the first floor, elavator is available inside. A spacious room with one double bed, a wooden floor and include a rustic furniture. Big bathroom neat and clean, the floor and wall tile in similar color, fridge inside room free wifi overall. Breakfast buffet is included in the price which serve between 9 and 10 am. For 36€ a night is more than worth the price! and you can walk to the monastery next door If you want a spa you can arranged through reception desk. We haven't need any relaxing treatment this time, as we're here only for a night. But I think is really worth to do, I've seen the list inside the room which not so expensive. If we have more time I would try it. The spa complex is inside the ground of monastery, separate from the hotel building. A good place to stay for people who likes a quiet and peaceful environment. You are in the natures side of Vatra Dorna
