A small and very quiet hotel in the city center (the church of Sao Francisco is round the corner, Praca do Giraldo - 4-5 minutes on foot). There is a tiny veranda for breakfasts. One of the owners does not know a word in English, try French with her.

Lovely place to stay, we had an ensuite, not all rooms have them.
Herbal teas provided & biscuits, for the cost of the stay, this is excellent value &  it's situated with the walls of the old town.  Thank you for our stay.

A Gem

A wonderful, clean, beautiful Hostel in the perfect downtown location. We were close to everything... The owner was very helpful in suggesting great and affordable restaurants as well as the historical places to visit.

Wonderful Hostel and perfect location

This is an immaculate Hostal in the heart of the city. It is so clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff speak little English but are charming.  WI-FI was a bit sketchy but good on the lovely patio. Fabulous value for money. Much recommended!
