Recommended only for people who want to stay away from city crowd and vehicular noise. Cetynka is situated at the top of the mountain and just 5 mins walk from the funicular train which takes you down to the heart of the city center in just 8 minutes. Also there are many souvenir shops and restaurants next to funicular train station. But all the shops and most of the restaurants get closed after 5 or 5:30 PM. There were only 2 restaurants that were opened after dark that I could notice. We also had a small kid so we had to drive down to city for some essentials in the evening. So plan accordingly specially if you are with small kids. Grocery shop was 5 kms away (not sure if there is any nearer)

Awesome views around the hotel and calmness if you love that. 
Service needs to be improved as there was very less option for vegetarians in the hotel. Seemed like there were not adequate staff in the hotel, probably because its off-season. But its good at this budget.

Quiet and away from hustle and bustle of city

Our room quiet big The owner never cleaned or made our bed our towels were never changed!!!!!! We were the only guests in the hotel it was so quiet kind of eerie so much so we left after only 3days and finished the rest of our holiday  in KRAKOW !!!!!! We booked direct with owner was more expensive than if we booked from elsewhere !!!!!!

TOO Quiet!!

We enjoyed our stay at willa cetynka. It is situated in a quiet location but still near to the centre. We used to walk 10min to get a funicular which takes you down just at krupowki street. Would recommend this place especially to those travelling omw a tight budget. We had all the basic necessaties, and really enjoyed our stay. 

Breath taking views of Tatra mountains

We spent Christmas at Willa Cetynka and had a wonderful time.  The hotel is on the top of the hill in Gubalowka, just off the main road and minutes from the ski slopes and restaurants.  The staff were very friendly and accommodating.  Excellent value.

Great location!

Just got back from a very relaxing stay at Willa Cetynka. The location is excellent, being away from the busy centre of Zakopane but within 100m of another restaurant/bar area for an evening drink/meal and only 200m from the funicular which drops you off at the market. The views from the property of the Tatras and other countryside are immense and the balcony from our room provided a great place to take in tranquility after busy days exploring the area. The owners are super friendly and hardworking, keeping the Willa very clean and providing great breakfasts. Our room was spacious and light so the ambience was wonderful. All in all a great stay and the place we will return to whenever we visit Zakopane.
