Beautiful location in the middle of nature.
Unfortunately the hotel does not heat rooms and keeps temperature so low that you freeze. Food, especially cold meats were often not fresh and sometimes even smelling bad. 
The hotel workers refuses to burn the fireplace, responding even with stunning statement that "it is not for guests", and only after the intervention with the owner the fire was set up. 

Not as expected

The location of the hotel is just great, in the middle of a forest. But the style of the building itself indicates rather a bad taste of the designer - a strange mix of the eighties combined with art nouveau, colonial and new age. Spacious room but for this price I would expect it to be in better condition: the bathroom door does not close at all, several bulbs in the room are missing, there is no fridge, stained curtains and a wall. Breakfast fine but average (no fruit). Swimming pool and saunas were ok.

I've expected more for this price

I read very good recommendation about this hotel so that´s why we went to visit it. But we were very surprised and I strongly do´nt agree with all of these positive recommendation.
All staffs was very unfriendly. Room was extremely hot and we couldn´t regulate it. There was 27 degrees. Also in whole hotel was terrible hot.
Hotel is very old and has nothing to do with 4 stars hotel.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very soft and I don´t understand why there are mattress on mattress. Also we couldn´t order king bed. they simple don´t have it.  Only 2 beds mounted together. Can you imagine this in 4 stars hotel ?
Whole hotel is from socialism time and everything looks very old fashioned. 
Generally its misch mash of old, socialism and new age. Very very strange. 
In the room there was no fridge. Also there was no music channel in TV. Only polish, russian and german.
Nobody was speaking english or czech in the hotel.  How is this possible in 4 stars hotel ?
We were very disappointed about this hotel and I recommend you don´t visit it. It was terrible experience for us.
Hotel is nice located in the nature. Room was clean and very big. We were on the dinner in the restaurant and even if equipment of restaurant looks very strange the food was extremely delicious. I recommend you to eat there. 
Breakfast was quit OK - nothing special.

Weekend in polish side of Krkonose mountain

I havent stayed in the hotel (yet, as after eating in the restaurant I would definitely go back there) so can only review the food. And this is fantastic. Young chef in this far away location is a diamond. I has Thai sea food soup (felt like in Krabi again) and Polish pork chop nicely cooked with patatoes and cabbage. Fantastic mix, prepared with real "feeling". Congratulations Chef Paweł!

Nice and quiet place at the very end of Kowary.-  narrow road goes there. If you drive there in the night for a first time you may be surprised. Hotel has nice SPA area and swimming pool. Good choice to spend some days with kids in quiet area -surrounding is the best of this place. Food  in the restaurant  is OK (we were group with pre order) service good too, nice breakfast  
Overall hotel is little bit old fashioned and could better maintained however clean quiet and comfortable.  Weak GSM signal - very difficult to call.

Team meeting

The hotel rooms are not my style at all,  themed and this makes them rather old school (I am a fan of slick - modern  design) nonetheless it is clean and cozy.  The bathrooms have great showers. 

SPA treatments are really good,  hammam is incredibly relaxing,  the staff is very nice and fits into the intimate setting. 

The restaurant offers good food, and a variety of gluten free choices as well.  They even had gluten free pasta! :) 

All in all a very nice place!
