Location - the resort is a 3 to 4 hour drive from Manila and going back, one has the option to book a ferry to MOA for around 450 pesos.  There are a limited number of public buses plying the route and those are cramped minibuses with no a.c. The nearest town with a 711 is around 10 kms away and public transportation is scarce. The resort provides transport to the nearest beach which is also about 10 kms.  Summary: the resort is a 12 hectare lot and is pretty much isolated. 

Room Rates: could not provide an objective review as this is a business trip.

Other rates: The resort has a mini convenience store. Considering accessibility and proximity to the town, items have a high markup. 

Room accommodation: True to advertised pictures. Layout is accurate. Minus points on the water pressure for the showers. Feels like being pissed at. No attendants to change your towels, beddings, or toiletries unless you request for one. No air fresheners as well. When you enter, smells like the room hasnt been cleaned/disinfected and unused for about a month.

Staff: (plus points) Accommodating, polite, and courteous. 

Resort amenities: multiple pools with varying depths for adults (one i checked was 8 feet). Has 2 working jacuzzis but water is too cold. Couldve been better with a heater function.  

We were not able to use the fish spa due to limited number of fish, which was probably eaten by swimming frog on the same pool.

Theres a billiards table with one cracked playing stick which you could use for free.

There's also the lava ash pen. For a fee of 350 pesos you can relax at this heated ash pen which could fit about 4 to 5 people laying flat at the same time.

There's also a trail which could lead you to a peak spot where there's a mini zipline waiting. Minus points for the stray dogs, some are agressive especially at nite.

Be careful. The area is surrounded by trees. Expect a lot of bugs, mosquitoes, bullfrogs, and caterpillars. 

Other amenities we were not able to explore.

Overrated

The resort is really dated.  Needs a lot of major improvement.

2 swimming pools were open during our stay, with a lot of dead leaves floating.  It's very windy during our stay though, but we hope that one of the staff should remove and clean the floating leaves which covers half of the pool.

Furnitures, appliances and fixtures in our room were dated.  Hot Shower is working with normal water pressure.  Bidet and fixtures in our bathroom were broken.  I had a lot of bed bugs bites.

Menu in their restaurant were limited.  Bland and mostly half cooked. Took an hour or more before serving and we followed-up thrice before they serve it.  

Limited wifi, lobby/restaurant only, service.

This place is pricey but with a low range of service and amenities.

Needs Major Improvement

The resort exceeded our expectations that was shown in their website and facebook page. And the staff we're accommodating and attentive with our needs. They gave us complimentary drinks from the moment we checked-in.

They provided different amenities perfect for team-building activities like rappelling, wall-climbing, zip-lining, and other obstacle courses. They provided us the facilitator who is very engaging and he handled the whole event very well that's why we enjoyed it even more.

And after a very tiring yet fun experience, we got to de-stress with their amenities specifically their volcanic spa. This makes the resort different from other resort and it was originally from lahar.

This resort is a TWO THUMBS UP

Recommended for team-buildings!

We were very delighted with how the staffs welcomed and accommodated our group up to our checkout. Plus, the ambiance was calming and a great place to unwind, especially that they have two types of spas (fish spa and volcanic spa).

Though the resort was fifteen minutes away from the beach, the travel was convenient because they provide a shuttle service from the resort and vice versa.

((We were originally from Magnolia building but surprisingly, there are available v.i.p rooms so the staff offered a free room upgrade.))

The room welcomed us with its relaxing and cozy vibes. The beds were comfortable and the resort gave us free toiletries for our whole stay.

The food was tasty and flavorful that makes us want to go back for another round.

WILL SURELY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Napakapangit ng lugar ibang iba sa sinabi ng representative nila na nagpunta sa opis napakalayo sa katotohanan. pag dating mo pa lang sa lugar makikita mo na napakadumi ng areanapakaraming lamok kahit sa kwarto may lamok hindi rin masarap ang mga pagkain. ang staff walang makausap na matino. simpleng kape na hingin mo hindi ka bibigyan kasi pang breakfast lang daw yun, at ng nanghihingii kami ng tubig may bayad daw yun. yung juice nila hindi nalamig (may ice naman ako nakikita pero hindi cya nalamig ewan ko kung bakit)powder na nga tinipid pa sobrang tabang ang room nila hindi nagana ang TV wala ka naman makausap na staff para ipaayos . ang beach napakalayo pagdating don napakadumi ang itim ng tubig. wala man lang nag aasist sa amin. imagine nag travel kami ng 6 hrs from manila tapos ganon ang dadatnan namin. isang beses isang taon lang kami mag company outing tapos wala pang kwenta ang napuntahan namin mukhang mas ok pa sa manila bay mas malinis pa kaysa sa beach nyo.kaya bago kayo mag booked dito pag isispan nyo muna mabuti hindi lahat ng pinakita sa picture totoo. napakapangit talaga as in....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
