First let me start with the positives. This hostel had quite a few positives - its location is central and easily accessible to Rowas Boulevard and all the shopping one can do there. The staff are very co-operative. I met a few good travellers here to hang out with, but that's where it sends - just "a few". 

By and large this hostel is unhygenic. I have stayed in youth hostels in North America, Europe, Morocco and even in Asia (Singapore too). This hostel is nothing even close to them. 

I stayed in a dorm here. While I had no issues with the other inmates, as they were all friendly, its the infrastructure that was unbearable.

This hostel had no locker facility, which meant that I could not leave any valuables behind under lock and key !! The washrooms were simply pathetic (I decided not to have a bath here). The dorm had just 1 charging point I could find and the wi-fi was only available in the ground floor and not upstairs.  

The saving grace here was that there were "a few" people who were nice to talk to and meet. Needless to say, i checked out of this hostel on the very next day to and checked myself into a cheap hotel (which was way more cleaner). 

Won't stay here again. If I ever do come back to Manila - I would try airbnb instead.

Average Stay

Spent 1 night here because of our late transfer-flight since it was close and cheap to airport. We only needed a bed to sleep in. I slept with earplugs and did not sleep that night because of outdoor noise. I did not feel safe with gates open, dirty and shady bathroom and there were only old locals staying there. 

The only reason I give it 2/5 and not 1/5 is because of the nice lady in the reception that helped us with the booking. 

Dirty

Though I only paid 350 pesos and the place was on walking distance from terminal 4 of Manila airport I did not stay the night. The bed was disgusting. I had to change the sheets myself. The toilet closets were so small, they had to stay open to use them. I did not even try the shower because they were disgusting. I completely do not recommend this place, even if you want to save money.

Avoid this place

Wish i kept the photos of the cockroaches.. they were skampering all over the bathroom and floating dead in the sink. No toilet paperr... not even for purchase. Sheets literally grimy and smelly. Absolutely no way you could get me to shower there... didnt want to even hover above the toilet to use it. I would truly rather go outside. Local ladies were awake all night with lights on. A very sketchy area of manila i would NOT recommend going out alone as a male or female. im not even picky! I promise.. this is just a truly disturbing place. Cant even describe it through words. HI should intervene here.

A truly disturbing place.

Male and female dorms. Walked in from the road and it was like a refugee camp, hundreds of people looking awfully sad in front of the hostel, wasn’t a great look. Got inside and asked a number of questions, I was with my sister and they wanted to put us in a double room....no thanks. They couldn’t listen or answer a basic question. Finally a girl turns up and shows us the dorm and it was disgusting, smell and the quality of the room was poor, almost 20 people packed in and it was filthy. Bedding was rank, pillows gross, like a laundry house inside.

Wild never stay here even for the location, it was disgusting.
