When we went to dinner, they hailed our tuktuks, negotiated with the drivers, made sure we had their phone numbers in case we had any issues while out, and were waiting for our arrival back that evening. The rooms are very comfortable with good beds and modern bathrooms. The whole property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Please do not think the lower price of this property is an indication of substandard accommodations. We almost cancelled as we had second thoughts that it would not meet our expectations. So glad we didn’t cancel. Absolutely everything was wonderful and if I ever return to Iquitos, this is where I would stay again. The location a little distance away from the center of town was not an issue. The tuktuk to popular restaurants (Al frio al fuego and Bucanero - highly recommended) was only 3-5 soles and a few minutes and an experience in itself.
