This hostel is on a hill above the center of Cuzco, so the view from the roof (there is a terrace where breakfast is served) is stunning. Very friendly staff. Some rooms are really comfortable, but there are also typical Peruvian rooms (small without a window to the open space), so ask before booking.

With the help of the owner, we bought several bus /air tickets and other services for other cities and attarctions and all served perfectly. He even checked every day to see if everything was working. Highly recommended.

This hostal does not have a laundry, but there are laundries in many places throughout Cuzco, so it's not a big deal.

Great place and trustworthy owner

An excellent service, I was with my girlfriend in Cusco, and thank God we found a place with family treatment, the rooms were very clean and the details day by day,. They have an especial view in the last floor, where you can take your breakfast  very calm.     I recommend it 100%, I hope to return soon.

Great place

Very nice and well located Hotel. Well trained staff with attention to detail and personal dedication to guests. Historical building is an attraction by itself. Rooms are spacious but somewhat dark. Location and the staff are the highlights.

Nice hostel not far from plaza des armas. 
Everything is clean, nice breakfast with pancakes and a superb view over the city from the terrace. The owners are nice and helpful. You can leave your luggage there for trips to Machu Picchu, etc.

A very nice little hostel. 
The rooms are clean and the personnel is very friendly. 
It's location near plaza del armaz is perfect as its near the center but far enough away to avoid the noise. 

The view from the balcony on top (where breakfast is served) gives a view of all of Cusco. 



Very nice with stunning view but low cost

Sweet people, good breakfast and nice view! But never had a warm shower. The shower even electrocuted me because of all wires there… also super cold rooms with no possibility to warm it up. And the wifi was bad. :(

The rooms were clean, not much to complain. But we did not like the service, breakfast only after 7.30, so impossible for any tour you book. 
When we came back from Machu Picchu at 1 am, even though we had a reservation for two nights and payed the first night, amd told them we would arrive this late, we were outside for 15 minutes, before we could go in. They disabled (after 5minutes of ringing) the bell, and only a phonecall from the neighbour to the boss could get us in. (Phone call to the reseption did not get answered!) 
And then we couldn't even stay in the same room for two nights, we had to switch rooms. 
The staff at the reception does not speak english and never has change when you need to pay (in advance)

Rooms okay, Service not really

When we arrived at this hotel, we found out they had cancelled our booking. We had received no message of this cancellation. They just cancel without bother to inform guests. 
A horrible way to start your vacation… 

Awful experience

When we arrived at this hostal, they said they cancelled the reservation. 
When I looked at booking.com: I saw a CONFIRMED booking with them, that was not cancelled. 
They said: we can cancel reservations without notifying guests. We had to look for another hotel…

2 days later: we received a notification that we didn’t show up !! They probably do that to avoid cancellation costs. 

Avoid booking here! There are plenty of more trustworthy hotels in the area.

The hotel cancelled our reservation without informing us in advance, so we had to find another hotel late in the evening, while the reservation was confirmed. There are hostels/ hotels that are more trustworthy than this one. Avoid this place!
