It's more a hotel than a hostel. The common area is just a couch next to the reception in the entrance; not really welcoming. Staff is helpful and reception 24/7. Bed is comfortable. Room and bathroom are clean. However, there is no restaurant like they say in some online travel agencies.. To get to the hostel from Plaza de Armas, you need to walk up for 300m. Therefore, I would not recommend it to people in bad health conditions
