56 reviewsMost importantly, the hotel is only about four blocks from the main Plaza and its on a road that is 100% safe and is full of people at all hours of the day and night, Mercaderes street. Its got a bank nearby, places where you can exchange dollars for soles and other small shops. Great base for moving around in AQP. Room was decent, beds were good, shower was fine. The only thing I could criticize is their breakfast. Charge 5 dollars more or just dont serve anything but breakfast could not be more simple if you tried and Ive had simple breakfasts in Peru, in areas where you're just lucky to eat something. AQP is not one of those areas, they could try a little harder than they do. They give u a piece of bread, hot water to 'mix' with instant coffee in little packets, a small glass of papaya juice and a small dish of cold oddly scrambled eggs. The guy at the front desk is nice, price is very fair, rooms are fine like I said. Perhaps a tad noisy at night but nothing ouf the ordinary. Id stay again like I said.
