We stayed in the Lily casita during our stay. We loved the secluded nature and layout of the Monkey Lodge. We were welcomed by Sabrina, and checked in early. We loved the home cooked meals and the drinks were strong and tasty, too! We toured to the waterfall and Indigenous Village with Max. What an amazing experience. We realized we were in low season (the river was quite shallow) and the date we chose was popular. When we arrived at the waterfall, Max told us there are too many others doing the hike, so we changed course and had more time at the indigenous village. This was a unique experience and it’s clear that Max and his family have a trusted relationship with the villagers. We finished off the tour with a hike to the amazingly refreshing waterfall!
