Harbour front Hotel with paid parking nearby. Pretty exterior and ground floor but the rooms need some TLC. Bed very soft for my taste. WiFi good. Room size good for 2. Main issue was the drainage in the bathroom. The shower water went everywhere but down the drain. We paid 1599kr for the night with breakfast (which was adequate). The pricing matches surrounding competition of which there is surprisingly little. Overall the quality of stay was OK but nothing special.

Potential but needs investment

Did not like that my room had no fridge and management refused to provide one, instead offering me a more expensive room with fridge or use of hotel’s fridge. Unpleasant discussion! Otherwise, very nice hotel and wonderful location

Vicoria Hotel is dated and need refurbishing. Running a hotel in an old building is, of corse, a challenge not very well solved here.
The air in the rooms are not good and when you open a window you let the noise in. Did not get any sleep in my two nights here.

Well....

We stayed one night, the room costed 2500 (250 euros). The views are spectacular, it’s quite clean the rest is quite bad (bed, sofa, furniture). Breakfast is hostel quality. Very expensive for what it is.

Nice view, but that’s it

Clean hotel,  friendly staff. Picturesque setting. A bit of noise from adjoining rooms but thankfully no loud people.  Breakfast was a bit disappointing but was included in stay.  We asked for a double bed instead of twin beds and were upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost.  The hotel was cosy.

Got an excellent room for NOK 100 extra. Fine.

We stayed three nights at this centrally located hotel in Kragerø. We were given a huge room with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Can hear nice, but this room 106 was on the ground floor towards the city. Everybody outside could look inside, so no privacy. And the first night (Saturday) was terrible with noise from bars outside, so no sleep before 3 am. Bathroom was renovated, but for every shower water entered all over the floor. Parking is difficult outside the hotel, but we were lucky to get one. Breakfast simple in a bag - but it was Corona times. Staff were friendly. So we were not impressed with the hotel as such, except that we had three nights downtown Kragerø which is not easy to get during summer times.

Centrally located, ordinary standard

This is a nice hotel in the heart of Kragerø, where all the shops and restaurants are right on your doorstep. Also right by the sea so you benefit from seaview from rooms facing the sea.The staff are lovely and helpful!  Also love that the hotel has a history and it's exciting to think that Edvart Munch stayed here at one point. Would recommend.
