577 reviewsI was looking for accommodation in Flam as part of the Norway in a Nutshell trip and this was the only one available on their site. I was a bit hesitant to stay in a hostel but once I entered the room, all my doubts vanished. I had booked a room with a private bathroom. Most rooms don't have showers so select carefully while booking. The room had a bunk bed. The mattress and duvet were provided and fresh linen and towels were handed over to me at the reception when I checked in. It was a very spacious room and included a coffee table. The bathroom was very clean and spacious as well though being a hostel there were no frills. Hot water was available at all times. The premises comprised of multiple cabins each of which had one or multiple rooms. The one I was asked to go to had 5-6 private rooms and a common dining area with a kitchen. It is spread over a huge premise and was practically soundless. I had the most quiet and peaceful sleep there. It was a 5 minute walk away from the main square at Flam which was the shopping, dining and boarding area for all kinds of transport. I would sure recommend to stay at this accommodation.
