Thanks so much for a lovely stay! Beautiful location and clean. Would definitely come back again. So quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the deluxe studio room 2 for one night. Wish we had longer to enjoy the region and those views, but we had to keep moving.

Stunning views

This place is a hidden gem. The hosts, Gail and Kim are warm lovely people that instantly make you feel at home. The view is lovely with spectacular sun rises, and a walk to town within 2 miles…best of both worlds! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! 

Fabulous

The Seaview Motel at Coromandel is more like a B & B than a motel. Just a few rooms as part of a house and a little out of town in a housing estate. My room was spacious and comfortable, the amenities basic but complete and the owner welcoming and friendly. The only downside was the really slow internet that made working (it was a business trip) a little hard.

More a B & B than motel

A fabulous weekend away with friends to celebrate a birthday. Units were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic views of the mussel beds and surrounding area. Lovely hosts who turned up with a plate of fresh oysters for the birthday girl to share! This would be the best motel experience we have ever had. Will definitely return.

Fabulous hosts and experience

What a fantastic place, the views are stunning, the rooms beautiful and spotless, the hosts Karen & Ross are lovely, and so are the 4 legged hosts. All in all, it was such a wonderful convenient place to be, hope we get the chance to return.

Amazing stop over

The Seaview style motel is probably the best establishment we have stayed in in our 22 years in NZ. The room was immaculate, spacious,clean and had everything you could wish for. Add to that amazing hosts,Ross and Karen, a spectacular view,  quiet location great breakfast and a comfy bed , perfection! Cannot fault it Karen! Thankyou .

Outstanding!

The sea view motel boasts wonderful views in a premium location, only a stones throw away from 3  beautiful coves. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ross and Karen and there lovely pets (2 dogs and a cat). They really did make us feel at home and offered lovely conversation with recommendations of the town and what to do while here. They were model motel owners. 

We were then shown to our rooms, a large master type bedroom, with a spotless on-suite, a large comfortable bed, kitchen and fridge facilities and the highlight of our stay, a sizeable balcony sporting a breathtaking view of the town, this really does speak for itself with a view of 3 coves as well as the famous mountains surrounding the town of Coromandel. A side note was the fact that with 3 of us staying we needed another bed put down, this was no problem for Ross and Karen who had laid a comfortable camp bed out upon our arrival. Furthermore the balcony offers a large table for eating purposes as well as BBQing facilities, they really did go the extra mile. Breakfast also hit there high standards with menu sheets left in our room with a vast choice of what to eat, this included cereal, Meats, pastries, a fruit bowl, and a range of hot and cold drinks, they were then served to us that evening with meats and other deli items left in our fridge to eat at our leisure in the morning. Overall this motel is a hidden gem, with lovely owners in a wonderful location, sporting some of the best views (in my opinion) in New Zealand. It really is that good!

Perfect from start to finish!!

We are currently touring North Island from the UK and found the journey from Kerikeri to Coromandel a long but interesting one.

As soon as we reached this motel we knew it had been worth every kilometre. Greeted by Karen, Riley, Fergus and Jasmine we immediately felt at home and as soon as we see our room with the most amazing views we wish we had booked longer than two nights.

Karen had upgraded us to the spa apartment and normally we wouldn’t spend too long in the room but this was just idyllic and so relaxing. 

All the decoration and equipment appear to be new and there are plenty of toiletries, towels and kitchen equipment and Karen  serviced the room and restocked the milk.

Karen and Ross told us of good local restaurants, beaches and walks and they were the perfect hosts.

If you like peace and quiet and spectacular views, visit the Coromandel Seaview Motel Style B&B, you will not regret it.

What a great place to stay!

This is a gorgeous place to stay, with fresh spotless rooms, beautiful views and super friendly hosts, human and of the four legged variety...Our group of 10 booked all the rooms for three nights and Karen organised a fantastic morning fishing charter which I would highly recommend also. Will definitely be back again...Ross and Karen are so nice and Riley and Fergus are gentle furry woofers which is a bonus for the dog lover
