We are so glad we chose this place to stay. Host Joyce was amazing in her hospitality and providing excellent advise about what to visit. Room was very clean with all the facilities mentioned. Weekend Getaway

We can't really add anything to what has already been written. Joyce and Jon were the perfect hosts, welcoming and so helpful. The situation is a bit of Kiwi heaven, just minutes from Stratford and its shops and eateries. If you plan to do any walking around Mt. Taranaki or just somewhere before you tackle the Forgotten Highway, stay here, it is superb

Brilliant

We were greeted by our friendly host. She was full of knowledge about the surrounding area, and places to eat in Stratford. The homebaked biscuits to have with our coffee on arrival were a lovely touch. 
The room was well appointed, with the table laid with matching crockery etc. The bathroom was large, hot water plentiful and big fluffy towels. 
The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast arrived promptly, and was great with lovely warm croissants and the usual Continental selections. 
This is a lovely quiet place to stay in the counrtyside, yet only 4 km to Stratford.

Lovely place to stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days here. Joyce was a delight, with information about places to visit. Once we had settled in she greeted us with home cooked biscuits. The room was well appointed and clean. It included a fridge and microwave. The breakfast table was beautifully set - the best in NZ! We would definitely return here and recommend it for other travellers. It was a few minutes out of Stratford which meant you stayed in a nicer setting.

One of our top stays in NZ

Very easy to arrange through the internet. Was late in arriving but they were very understanding. The room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was perfect, a good mixture and tasty. Coffee range was excellent.  A very nice stay, would come again.
