Chalets were lovely and well spaced out so didn’t feel on top of each other.  Inside of chalets were comfortable with plenty of space and great shower.  

It is an open plan arrangement including the toilet so no door or separate room.

There is an outdoor kitchen at the chalet and a bbq and I believe you can order supplies at reception.

The main hotel for breakfast and dinner is a 5 minute drive away but also very pleasant and the restaurant is a buffet, which includes a BBQ.

The highlight for us was the stars, they are amazing and so clear, so remember to look up!

Comfortable stay - the pool was great (although on the cooler side). The sunset by the poolside was amazing. Dinner and breakfast was at their sister lodge (Desert Camp) which would have been great to stay at, but I assume would have cost us much more! No issues - beds were comfy, and staff were helpful.

Good overnight stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Desert Quiver Camp and did not want to leave.  The setting in the middle of the desert was stunning, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.  We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Fantastic experience!

Nice stay in the desert a few kilometers away from the Sossusvlei national park entrance gate. The accommodation is clean but the external canvas over the small kitchen area is in need of replacement. Also be reminded that breakfast is not served at the quiver camp but rather at the main lodge a few kilometers away.

Desrt Quiver Camp

All was ok just wish the pool was working because i booked that the apartment for the pool which was closed. Was offered to use pools from nearby guest housesSecondly the fridge was not cold and the freezer compartment  was tiny. Being in a desert, a big freezer makes sense. I wanted to put 2 liters of water to user when  i go to the dunes but it could fit even a 1 litre bottle

Good stay

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. 
Had a great 2 night stay.
Room comfortable and cool.
We self catered using the 2 ring plugin electric hob and braai. A box of crockery can be collected from reception for a N$300 deposit.
Late afternoon at the pool is bliss. They provide towels.
My only recommendation would be for a shaded parking for car.
The camp is 5min drive to the Park gate.
From gate to Sossusvlei is approx 60km. There is a speed limit of 60 but certainly heading out to the dunes the av speed was 100!!!

Brilliant stay

A great place to stay with the park nearby. Staff is always friendly and helpful. However I do have suggestions to improve. Have multiple bins for recycling the trash instead of one big bin (at least near reception as in your other lodge). Install solar Panels so you become independent which would be very easy at that location and with aircon on 24/7 that is a must in my eyes. Else all good 👍

Nice lodge with good food in the neighborhood lodge

Super cool place to stay. In the middle of the desert, huge rooms and a !!pool!!! which was very welcome after a day out in the sun. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. Staff was welcoming and the location was great, just try to arrive when the sun is out

A very special place

Loved this place!  Very underrated, property was very pretty, staff was amazing, and they had the coldest beer possible. Not much more you can ask for after getting cooked in the sun by the dunes.

Great stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at Desert Quiver Camp and were not disappointed.   The chalets are comfortable and you can braai outside your chalet.  The night skies are amazing.  I had very good service from the reservations agent who went out of her way to assist, even with booking the sossusvlei nature drive.   This is a lovely option of accommodation at Sossusvlei.
