We enjoyed our stay here, pool was great as we had to check out at 12 and we were leaving on night bus to Kalaw late in the evening. Staff had reasonable English and they were all incredibly helpful.
In my books very good value for money. Bagan is incredibly dusty so pool is very good idea.

Our stay in Bagan

It's quite far out from central but if you hire an e bike from the hotel it's quite easy to get around, just keep it on a low setting otherwise you'll drain the battery and will be pushing it back. Room was big and clean and they have a swimming pool at the sister hotel just around the corner but wear your swimming costume as there is no changing room. It's not the cheapest place to stay but it was very quiet in our room and there's a couple of cool temples just past the hotel which you wouldn't know of.

Big clean rooms

Rooms : Clean and spacious, good hot water shower, clean towels, shower gel and shampoo, wifi was spotty, air con was strong, a brief 5 minute power trip happened, value for money if you're sharing with 2 to 4 people

Service : Staff very helpful, no breakfast (Shwe Poe Eain 1 will charge you 5000k for breakfast), you can use swimming pool at Shwe Poe Eain 1 but there's no changing rooms so wear your swim-wear underneath.

Loaction : Not convenient, 300 metres walk to central New Bagan for food, 350 metres walk to Shwe Poe Eain 1, you can rent ebike from the hotel, music and singing from a festival live show can be heard in the room for one entire night until dawn

Clean rooms, location not ideal

It's really hard to be critical of hotels in Myanmar and apply normal standards because tourists have really only been coming en masses for the past five years so the tourist industry is really on a steep learning curve. This place suffers from that a tad. The staff were so sweet and tried hard but they don't have much idea of how to run a hotel. I wish it were a different story. I'd love them to succeed. Simple stuff like the missing top cotton sheet on the bed. I ended up sleep with a synthetic blanket only. Never had that before. Staff, kids basically, making a racket in the corridors at all sorts of hours. The tiled floors meant the hallways were ;like echo chambers. Breakfast is actually served at a different hotel, a five minute ride away in a vehicle. Location is a bit on the edge of town. IT's OK but had I known about these things I'd have stayed elsewhere. I wish them well though. Staff were all smiles but most of them couldn't speak a word of English which made simple requests a little problematic.

Lovely staff but they need some help I think

Rooms are not clean, they didn't even bother to change the sheets. No towels. Cockroaches having a party. For the same money you can get a better place in the area. I do not recommend going there with that price. it would be ok for maybe half the money.
