We booked the Dar Dubai purely on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews, we didn't expect much given the price, but our expectations were definitely exceeded.

Our room was functional & clean, (ours had air conditioning) with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is again functional& clean towels provided. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Breakfast is the same every day but good quality. The breakfast area is open roof & it is lovely having birds fly in occasionally as you eat. The rooftop is a great place to relax.

They also offer trips at a greatly reduced price than we had found online & cheaper than we found others had paid.

We stayed here for 10 nights during our visit to Marrakech, Abdul one of the hotel staff was very polite, welcoming and informative of the location and sites to see in the area. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and it was no trouble to have it on the roof top over looking the city (although the view wasn't amazing) the maid cleaned the room everyday however the towels were not changed and you had to ask for toilet paper. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious however wifi doesn't work in the rooms on the second floor. The shower was fluctuating between scolding hot and freezing cold so you had to be quick! No locks on the door so we asked for a padlock for security when we left our things which was no trouble and the hotel had a duplicate key incase you lost it. Morning prayer call at 5:30am every morning was difficult as the speakers are directly next to the hotel however as the days go on you become used to it and manage to sleep through. Over all this is a authentic, basic riad  perfect for a low budget holiday, you get what you pay for but we throughly enjoyed our visit.

The hotel was being run by a young man who had his mates round until about 3 In the morning every night, the food (when you got it) was very poor, the accommodation was below average, all in all its the worst run hotel I have ever been in, it ruined my holiday , I left earlier than expected to stay at another hotel

We booked the place via booking.com during the cop22 in Marrakech. We went there and taxi driver couldn't find the place (we later learn that's normal and you always need to have a phone and be assertive so they don't leave you somewhere). After calling the place we were relocated to Riad Dubai. That was relatively close. It was not clear whether there is no place in Dar Dubai so we were offered different accommodation or whether they rebranded. It was a bit confusing. Once we arrive to Riad Dubai we learnt that they only have one room (instead of 2 we booked) so we need to share. Don't get me wrong the room was ok place was clean and everybody was friendly but it was not what we paid for. In principle if this place was around eur 70 per room we would be very happy. However we paid almost eur 200 per night because of cop and we really had a feeling of being severely ripped of. Staff was friendly, breakfast was ok and room were clean. However, the place wasn't worth the price especially that internet didn't work in the rooms.

1 - don't let the Dubai name fool you into believing it's good = it's the worst holiday I've had, PLEASE SEE BELOW
2 - the hotel was down dodgy alleys in a pokey corner with a broken buzzer outside, to get to the door you had to go down a step after being careful NOT to bang you're head on a very low structure, there was no proffesionalism to the mucky,horrid hotel, there was a young boy only running it that was only bothered about his mobile phone and the music on it,he kept inviting his mates round,you were woken up at 5am by the deafening noise of religion (Muslim)= PLEASE AVOID AND DONT GET SUCKERED LIKE ME
3 - I paid for half board the boy in charge DIDNT provide it once, i think it was too much trouble 
4 - I was that disgusted with the service I left and booked into another hotel ✔️
= OVERALL A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND AS I SAY THE WORST HOTEL IVE KNOWN (how it's still open is beyond me !)
