Riad Layalina exceeded our expectations! It was easy for our driver to drop us off, right at the front door so we didn’t have to carry our luggage any distance. The staff were incredibly hospitable as well! We were welcomed with mint tea and other delicious treats/fruit even with our late arrival. All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. They were friendly and spoke English perfectly. The riad was also ornately decorated everywhere you looked! It was absolutely stunning; it was the most memorable and beautiful place we stayed through our entire vacation.

FES Trip

We (2PAX) spent 3 nights. Rooms were very nice and clean. Common areas in the first floor, including a terrace and a beautiful/ original morocan decoration style. Service from staff was excellent and very welcoming and attentive. Cuisine delicious and healthy, both dinner and breakfast. An outstanding vacation experience!

Outstanding place to stay in Fes

Our stay was amazing! All of the staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Marrocco.
Very close to the old part of the Medina that we visit with a great guide that they arranged for us. 
The room was very good with a lot of space and a comfortable bed. 
We wish to visit again.

Amazing stay

We had the best time in staying. Rooms were clean and spacious and our hosts Anas and Asmae were just so lovely and helpful. Riad is absolutely beautiful mirroring true Maroccan style with its windows and mosaic. Lots of areas to relax - pool, roof top or courtyard. When we arrived we got refreshments and breakfast Wes amazing. Beds were nice and comfy. We got a tour through hotel and I wouldn’t recommend Moundir high enough. He took us everywhere and with limited time we had in Fes we still got to see everything Medina has to offer.

Best stay

This was our favourite hotel in Morocco. From the moment we walked in the door from a very long journey, we felt a home. Our host gave us a warm welcome with tea, water and biscuits. We were pleased also to be welcomed by their adorable little dog. Nothing was an issue and they helped us booking a delicious authentic Moroccan meal at a nearby restaurant. Also booked a guided walking tour with Moundire, what a positive and enthusiastic guide, felt like we were spending an afternoon with an old friend. if you come to Fes we highly recommend you request Moundire for a guided tour. The hotel and rooms were lovely, we definitely felt like we’d arrived in Morroco. The breakfast was outstanding!! A delicious feast to start your day. Parking is right across the road, making it easy to get luggage to the hotel and everything is an easy walk. This beautiful family take hospitality to the next level. If you come to Fes you must stay here!

Perfect!!!

Happy to have found this gem, smack bang in the middle to explore both sides of the Medina! Unique to have the private secure parking place, Important for us as we have been road-tripping through Morocco and have everything in our car. Nice to change the rooftop tent for a normal bed and en-suite bathroom.As we are big F1 fans we choose this hotel for the fact that it has satellite TV. Despite the very helpful guy at the hotel, unfortunately it wasn’t working.

Beautiful Riad with secure parking space!

Just about perfect, the room, the staff and the location could not have been better. Despite my feeling less than 100% we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We should make special mention of Radouane and Esmah, not to forget the charming guide Mohammed we guided us through the labyrinth of the Medina. The two final bonuses were a plunge pool and secure parking.

Just about perfect

After 2 weeks of traveling in Morocco I can confidently say this was the best riad I stayed at throughout my trip! The riad is so stunning, visually beautiful and such a calm and lovely place. I enjoyed my time so much relaxing by the pool reading on the sofa, or enjoying the terrace for breakfast and dinner. The staff was so incredibly kind and hospitable- so warm and welcoming right from the start and always checking in with smiles on their faces. The last morning of my stay I had to leave extra early and the staff woke up early to make me a mini breakfast and coffee so that I wouldn't leave with an empty stomach! I am so appreciative of that. Everyone at this riad truly made me feel like I was at home, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you all for everything and for your kindness. I will tell everybody to stay here!
