We only ate at the restaurant so the rating does not cover the quality of the hotel. The price for the food is reasonable but we really got surprised about how small  pizza we got. The pizza took less than 5 minutes to consume which makes this meal more snack than lunch...

I've reviewed this property before but we visit Fes at least once a year with visiting friends and to me it's worth knowing that I can count on a clean, friendly, attractive and conveniently located place in Fes. 
Across from the lovely Janane Sbile Garden and close to Bab Boujloud in the medina, it would be hard to find a better location. Staff are welcoming and helpful, breakfast is delicious (I particularly appreciated the pain chocolate and the cafe americain) and the rooms are clean and charming. This is my go-to hotel in Fes.

Consistently good

The room smelled of sewer, so y poo u begin by airing out the bathroom.  The plumbing did not work and something tells me it never does work from reading the other reviews.  The toilet does not fill up and so it doesn't flush.. awful.  We told one staff member and he said he would discount the room and get it fixed for us that day.  That time came and passed.. and still no repairs the next day.  When came time for the discount it was denied.. we paid full price for a smelly room without a functional toilet.  I won't even go on about the activity on the streets outside your window.. good luck getting to sleep early.  Avoid the hassle, and book elsewhere .  

Avoid the hassle

We stayed here while visiting Fes. With good rates, this hotel is situated at walking distance (5min) of the Medina (hence the rating). The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. We also booked a guide for the medina but would not recommend to do this through the hotel. The guide rushed through the medina going from shop to shop, leaving us there with the shop owners to pick us up and continue. He did not wait for us when we took longer while looking around or taking a picture. I would recommend getting a guide, just not through the hotel.

Nice hotel with perfect location

Clean A-C rooms and good beds, excellent location in front of main entrance of Jnane Sbile Jardin and Bab Boujloud. Safe and reasonably quiet street. Staff could learn a lot about hospitality. Host was still asleep when breakfast was allready supposted to be served. When not included, don't have breakfast here, it is quite poor.

The rooms smelled bad, and the hotel was in decrepit shape. Nothing worked, and they did not take credit cards.

Stay away

The hotel has a beautiful Moroccan ambience.  The staff are friendly and honest.  Hotel is very close to the market.

Unless you are a man I would not stay at this hotel. The staff at this hotel treated us like second class citizens. They never answered any of our questions, brushed us off and were totally rude. They could barely utter good morning! DO NOT STAY here, your money is better spent elsewhere.

Rude and unfriendly!

The location was great for walking to the medina more than one time. It was also close to a variety of restaurants. The breakfast service did not begin until 8 A.M. and was slow. The room was dark and needed more light. The bathroom floor got wet because of the shower arrangement.
