Excellent Location! The hotel is walking distance for the main square. The staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is clean and the amenities were more than sufficient. The atmosphere was mellow. Plenty of eateries nearby.

Excellent Location & Super Clean

In general and despite the little details I would stay there again. 

Is a nice place, is clear they care about maintenance of the place. The facilities are clean like: the common corridors, the rooms, the bathroom, the sheets in the bed smelled clean. The only exception was the swimming pool as the water looked turbid and didn't exactly invited to get in.

The decoration in the common areas makes perfect match with the name of the hotel. Although you can see in different places images of Angels, the decoration is moderated. There is a wall decorated with crosses and another one decorated with butterflies.

The rooms are spacious, we stayed first in room 12, then ask for a change, this room 15 it was also spacious except for the bathroom, this was a bit tiny but clean.
The personnel in the hotel was very kind and helpful whenever it was needed. 
The hotel is well located near the centre, the main square which is nice. 

Bring EARPLUGS and SLEEP MASK if you want to rest well at night. The rooms don't isolate the outside noise. On Friday and Saturday night they had live music at the restaurant of the hotel. That was the reason for changing rooms but then in the other room we had the loud music from the bar across the street. The best option would be to dance and sing in your room until it ends and you can fall asleep.

Every night, in both rooms as they face the streets, you can hear the noise of the stands the people from the market use; is quite a noise.

The restaurant is good, although not for breakfast, they open quite late. Still near by are good places to have breakfast.

And finally, the door of the rooms although is made of yellow bevelled glass, at nights they forget to turn off the lights and a yellow light comes in. Nonetheless, the switch are visible and you can turn them off. But if you want to stay late in bed in the morning is not possible because the light comes in through the glass. Perhaps putting a curtain will be a huge help.

Is a nice place, but don't forget earplugs and a sleep mask

The hotel is conveniently located and the price is competitive, but there are many many other hotels in the town that do not show up on any webpages that are very similar. My biggest complaint is the roomkeeping service, which is unlike any other I had experienced, without notice, the maids went through our entire luggage and toiletries bags, putting clothes back into the luggage, closing them and moving them into the closet, rearranging toiletries within the bag, moving gadgets inside drawers, etc... I'm pretty sure they went through every item we had, and worst of all, stole a small gold ring which had insurmountable emotional value for me. The staff in general is kind and accomodating, but the cleaning service will definitely cost them many customers.

Huge privacy violation + stealing

We stayed two nights in the Casa de los Milagros Hotel and found the owner "Charlie" and the staff very friendly and accommodating. There is no parking near the hotel but we could always get a ride to their fenced parking lot whenever we needed it. The hotel has a pool which was quite refreshing on hot days. It is a 3 minute walk to the Zocalo where there are many great restaurants and shops.
Prices may be higher on weekends.
